I actually haven't really heard a whole lot about magic zombies, so I'm glad ya mentioned it! lol.Going from place to place is great for finding things you need to survive, I think the biggest problem I find with it, is you could drive into a town thats nothing /but/ zombies and be surrounded and that is always dangerous, especially without a large group right there with you.

We had actually talked before about a convoy of specially designed semis that we would be able to drive around and have plenty of room (I'd like one like they had in Land of the Dead!) and use those to go around and gather everything we could. possibly need, stealing gas as often as we could, and getting everything back to our compound.

Anyways, would be great to have another person in the conversation!! Always fun to hear other peoples plans!!

After the gas pumps run out I'll most likely be jumping from car to car. I actually made a list of everything I would need, haha! But I won't go that in detail. Bah! I already sound crazy for believing it!

I like the detail and moving idea. I think you would last way more than 5 months as long as you follow your plan. If you guys ever met up with our groups, we'd be a mobile army of zombie-slaying kick ass!

Ok, most people know I'm pretty insane. I would want a Resident Evil type Zombie Apocalypse because I want the challenges of not just zombies, but Lickers, Hunters, and the various Tyrants. Yeah, it would lower my survival rate a lot to have this type of Z.A. but I would enjoy it.

So if a Resident Evil type situation DID happen and you found out who created/released the virus, would you try to stop them and fight against them or would you just have enough trying to survive?

I agree that would be a lot more interesting, and also much harder to survive in!! Imagine a ton of lickers and Nemesis or that Fossil thing running around... no compound, no shelter would keep you safe!! It would either constantly be running away, or hiding and shooting until they stop moving... then blow them up for good measure!! XD Honestly though, if I'm gonna go out, I wanna go out with a bang and also being killed by something from a game/ movie!! Haha, I can see how some people would consider it insane, but hey, it beats dying on the toilet!!! lmao

Hey Drizzle Vision: if you could choose any Resident Evil monster to be, which one would you choose?

Remyre: Hmmm that is a tough one. The Hunters would be the obvious choice for low-level B.O.W.'s. They are fast, can leap, but also have thicker reptile skin so they can take more than Lickers. I'm also not too keen on the whole tentacle look from some of the later monsters, though I COULD think of a few things to do with tentacles. *cough* ahem *cough*.

Honestly, if I had to pick ANY, it would be the G-Virus Tyrant. The one William Birkin turned into and mutated like 4-5 times. Every time you kill it, it mutates unless you completely blow it up like at the end of Resident Evil 2.

Hey, you can't talk about later RE games without talking tentacle monsters. Unfortunately. That's one of the biggest reasons RE 5 was crappy. They used the generic tentacle blob monster ALL THROUGH THE GAME. It didn't feel like Resident Evil.

And no, you can't be Wesker. lol. But yes, he is bad-ass. And I'll give you him and Chris have a love/hate relationship but you leave Leon out of it lol. :XD Leon is Ada and Claire's guy. lol.

And.....I have to agree about Rain....whew is an understatement. She reminded me of Vasquez from Aliens. There is just something about hardcore girls that is AWESOMELY attractive!

RE 4 was the last actual RESIDENT EVIL game and it was GREAT! RE 5 was such a disappointment. They destroyed Wesker's story in RE 5 and I was sooo pissed. The good thing though is the Wii games, The Umbrella Chronicles and The Darkside Chronicles are really really awesome games! They are rail-shooter types that re-tell the story from Resident Evil 0, 1, 2, 3, and Code Veronica plus you get to play through the story from Wesker's point of view in Umbrella Chronicles to see what he was doing.

I like Christian Bale as Batman and in Equilibrium >.< lol. But I honestly hate all the RE movies except the 2nd one and Afterlife. I like Afterlife because they took Alice's super powers away. That made it seem more threatening and more like RE. And the 2nd one, with Raccoon City was basically Resident Evil 3 + Alice added in so it was good to me.

I HATED that most of the cast got killed by LASERS in the first movie. But yes, she shouldn't have been killed off. The new movie will apparently have Leon and Chris in it. Hopefully they do Leon justice at least.

I have a friend who's OBSESSED with anything Resident Evil... I like them, but honestly, I like some of the movies more. I liked 1 2 and Afterlife.. 3 was just ridiculous and shouldn't have been made!!

I think like a lot of first movies in a series, Paul Anderson just had some kinks to work out.. but then 2 was like, epic on steroids, then 3 was on crack and acid <not a good trip mind you, and Afterlife just got out of rehab and she's all dialed down and normal again!! they kind of remind me Queen of the Damned, if you ignore the fact that they're based on video games, and they have their own separate story and characters, they're good movies.. but otherwise, the majority of them are just so-so at best.

Since they are trying to be Resident Evil, they have to live up to the games AND books (because I have the book series and the story is directly based on the games so they had the script already written, they just didn't use it).

It's also like Final Fantasy: Spirits Within. That was a GOOD movie...but because it was titled and wanted to be a Final Fantasy movie, it had to live up to that name and it fell WAYYYYY short of that goal lol. It wasn't a BAD movie, but it just didn't live up to the name-sake.

i couldn't agree more!!! final fantasy SW was a good movie (it's been forever since I've seen that one!!) It just wasn't quite... well, Final fantasy-ish. haha, but Advent Children, was pretty freakin epic!!! The problem with most Books/ games that are made into movies is the director... cause the director /always/ thinks they know the best, and have this vision, that is cool.. it's just not the same as the original vision.

Yeah, me and my friends talk about this a lot. Directors/writers like taking "creative liberty" with stuff based on books/games but they forget WHY the game/book was popular in the first place.

As an anime fan, I love fan-subs because companies don't always import anime that they think won't be popular. So it's up to fans to get it out to other countries. Plus dubbings, even good ones are usually months behind the actual show/manga but once it's brought over though Funimation, Viz, or the like I support it when I have the money. I do the same with movies here. If it's good, I have no problem forking over 10-15 bucks for the dvd when I can. Or more if it's REALLY good like Watchmen. I payed 25 for that the day it came out.

As for SOPA, I'm 110% against it. Yeah, it would stop a lot of pirating, but giving the government the right to police the internet is a sure-fire way to kill free speech. You say something they don't like, your site is blocked to the entire country. There are pros and cons but even if I don't like what people say, I will always side on the side of free speech. And honestly, I don't trust the government OR the entertainment industry to use SOPA properly for anti-pirating only. They'll abuse that power just like they do every other one they have.
