Is it just me or does it seem that whenever you/i have to take a long drive that it is raining.
And also i don't like long trips, yet i am constantly running back in forth to airports... i don't like sitting still in a confined space...i just don't like?
Is there anything about traveling you guys/girls/things don't like?
Do you agree with me or disagree?
Either way i don't care i just wanna know if it's "weird" to hate traveling so much.

It's not weird to hate travelling. I happen to love it if I have music, but if the radio or the ipod isn't on full blast, then I hate it. C:

Personally, I live in Scotland so most journeys I make involve rain. :lol: The major thing I hate about travelling (on public transport) is the general public. I hate them with a fiery passion.

I like to travel, I'm just broke as heck so I can't. I would love more time and money to take pointless road trips to nowhere for the weekend. When I made more money, I used to take the weekends off and just drive until I felt like stopping then spend the night and the next day wherever I was. It was a lot of fun.

I don't like to travel if I'm the driver and I don't like super long car trips. I'm okay with flying though.

I prefer road trips to flying. I want to travel around in a VW mini-van one day. *far off dream*

I bought a VW mini bus with my ex years ago for like $600 off of Craigslist. We fixed it up so it really only ended up costing us like $1000 each when all was said and done. We planned to use it to travel but she left me and kept the bus. I would love to get another one to fix up. I want to be a drifter. :P

I couldn't handle if someone kept my VW bus! D; My dream car is actually a yellow VW Beetle, so a yellow VW camper van is almost the same in amazingness! :drool:

I only let her keep it because I didn't have anywhere to keep it at the time and she wouldn't let me sell it. I kind of spoiled her...a lot. I wold love another one. I was thinking maybe teal this time around. Ours was orange and cream. It was still cool looking but I think teal and cream would be neat too.

Nah, yellow and white is where the magic is. :drool: Also, I'm going to let you know, you may find me as a stowaway on your bus when you go touring... :ninja: I'm house-trained though!

I like driving in the rain, it's fun to go through giant puddles :p

I've gotta go on a 5+ hours trip to an airport and back in about 30 minutes...
It frustrates me....maybe if i had a trampoline on top to the car...yes...

I hate driving in the rain, only because the rain here goes on and on and on without end -- and rains hard and doesn't let up for twenty minutes or more.

Not a big traveler, though.

@Ashlyn: Try having heavy rain for about twelve hours on end and lasting about a week before you have one day of sunshine and the cycle starts again. :gonk:

When my boyfriend was away at college, my friend and I would road trip to go see him, and I hated that drive so much. Three times it was during a big rain storm (spring sucks here) and then there was always road work forcing us into single lanes and stuff. A semi almost killed us, I swear.

But it's always awesome finally getting there, or getting home, after sitting in that car for hours. I just need to get up and run around and take a nap at the same time. It's awesome and horrid.

I don't mind driving in the snow as long as it's not like white out conditions or overly slippery. Snow is pretty when it's coming down. It's just after it's down is when it's messy and ick.

I actually enjoy travelling quite a bit. Seeing new places is so much fun! However, I do tend to hate the journey to get there, as the original poster does. For me, it's always raining, snowing, or sleeting when I have to go for long drives, and it's so irritating. I also hate driving for long periods of time, because I have a hard time driving for more than 2 1/2 hours in one go, so when you start hitting nine hours of driving in one day, it's bad--I start having to drink horrendous amounts of caffeine after the three hour mark, or I'm constantly battling sleep.

I've never actually flown, so I have no opinion on that.

The waiting part I don't like when traveling. I don't have a car, so I have to wait for the bus, and it's not fun >>;

The only thing I hate about traveling is that I barely get to do it.
I haven't been much of anywhere and I would love to see new places with different cultures and customs.
My dream places are NYC, Japan, and London.

I hate traveling with a passion. My bladder seems to shrink when on the road for more than two hours. :lol: But seriously :sarcasm: And I have also noticed that whenever I go on long trips, the weather is either rainy or cold. I don't like it one bit. I live in a crappy town in a crappy state, but to be honest, I'm alright here. I have no reason whatsoever to move elsewhere, even though everything awesome is more than two hours away from me. But trust me. You're not alone on this.

Yea, I like traveling but I don't like sitting down for long periods of time. Our first vacation took us 5 hours by car to get there in the FOG :gonk: but it was worth it!
