I listened to my heartbeat last night with my stethoscope last night...It was so cool!!!!!!! My stethoscope sounded weak the first few times I used it, only cuz the plugs weren't in my ears all the way. It was so awesome...It was a kewl thumping sound.

It was like thump-thump, thump-thump...It was so sweeeeeet. Have you ever listened to your own heart beating before, or someone else's?

I had a little stethoscope in a mock medical kit when i was a kiddie, but as far as i know it was genuine. Worked well anyway. I'd listen to everyones and then compare them with mine.
The closest i've gotten to a real one is during my asthma check ups at the docs, so it's been a while since i've heard my own.

I have, a few times. It's pretty cool, in a, "I'm aliiiive~ 8D" sort of way.

Though I'm also paranoid that I might hear something abnormal with it and then freak out that I'm gonna die or something.

Ha, you'd get along well with my Mom. The stethoscope is a party game with her. :p

...And saying that, yes I have heard my heartbeat, as well as other peoples'. I'm not as into it, though, my own heart through a stethoscope just sounds so... removed, I guess, to me. Like it isn't really a part of me.

I've never actually listened to mine because I was born with the same condition as my mom, it's no big deal but it does skip one of its beats. I've never wanted to hear it because I feel like it would freak me out. >.<

yup I have because I'm a nursing student

we had to learn how to take all the observations, including heart rate/ beat.

so yeah I've also used it during my clinical placement on elderly people, its pretty cool cos everyone has a different heart/ rythm

The first stethoscope my company gave me sucked! I couldn't hear a darn thing and was super frustrated. I went out and bought my own. Such a difference, I can hear all my patients so I can take accurate blood pressure now and it's a pretty purple too :)

My heart beat is incredibly normal usually...but one time i was listening to it and i decided that if i do something to make it go faster then usual then when it's beating fast and i change my breathing pattern around from fast to slow, i could control it a little and make a nice beat lol, i would rap to it if i wasn't so white XD.
