Which do ya'll think is the best out of the selection of prepaid phones?
-Straight Talk
-Virgin Mobile
-Cricket
-AT&T
-T-Mobile
Or do you prefer unprepaid?
Personally i prefer prepaid because if i don't have the funds to pay one month or something i don't end up with a massive bill that i can't pay. I used to go with Cricket simply because it was pretty good where i was at and it was the cheapest. But now i'm looking for a new thing because Cricket doesn't work well where i'm at now.

I go for pay-as-you-go (I don't know what version that is where you are) rather than contracts. I also go for o2 rather than any other company, I get the best deal with them as well as good reception. C:

My first phone was a prepaid phone. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
I used T-Mobile and it worked fine for my area at the time.
I've moved on from prepaid though. XD

Never had a prepaid phone, even though I got my first cell phone in the 7th grade. But I have heard good things about AT&T's prepaid phone. I use AT&T and have never had one single issue, awesomely perfect service here. So if I ever had to go prepaid or pay as you go, I'd go with AT&T xD

I've always been on a family plan. If you think about it, it costs WAYY less in the long run.
My sister had a prepaid when she first got her phone and it was 10 cents a text, which blew my mind since I have unlimited data, texts, and calls on the weekend for $40/month with 2 other people with T-Mobile. And thinking about how many times a day I text or go on Facebook, it is so much better for my lifestyle.
But yeah...if I ever had to go prepaid, I would pick AT&T. I guess? I really just don't care for prepaid at all.

I have Metro PCS and it's a no contract phone that I just pay monthly and if I don't pay they just shut the phone off with no charges to turn it back on. It's $50 a month for unlimited everything so it makes me happy enough.
I used to use ATT prepaid phones. That got too expensive though. I hated Virgin mobile because I had a ton of problems with their service and they were not really willing to help. Same with Tracphone.

I've never had a prepaid phone; I found that for me, it was just as easy to have an actual phone bill and flexible service. It costs virtually nothing to have a simple plan with some minutes and unlimited texting (which is usually part of all 'packages' now). God save anyone who still pays per text.
As for minutes, I don't talk on the phone but a few minutes each month, so I never had an outstanding bill problem. Even so, it's easy to get a good plan.
I don't have any of those providers around here; they're all localized and have a monopoly on the location.

I've got a prepaid phone with Virgin, and I love it. I've got unlimited data and txt, plus 300 min (I don't talk all that much on the phone, usually send a txt instead).
