Bang Bang He Shot Me Down

Bang Bang I Hit the Ground

Yesterday evening the tenant in the duplex beside mine discharged a firearm. And not just any gun; a large one. Subsequently, not checking the barrel after you load and unload a clip causes some problems and blows a hole through your neighbor's wall.

So only a few short minutes and I decided to move out; totally jumping ship.

Anyone else have a harrowing start to their weekend?

Lol I'm sorry to laugh! It's almost comical! I'm glad you're okay though. This weekend has been fairly normal for me, no crazy stories yet, but then again it's just begun! Your story did remind me though of when I used to take road trips every summer, years ago, and we'd stay in these awful little motels out in the middle of nowhere and experienced many terrifying moments with people staying in rooms right next to us.

I don't stay in motels nowadays.

Oh my... Glad you're okay! Hope you find a safer home! :)

That is why I do not have a gun. I'd probably end up accidentally shooting something. I am not anti-gun but I'm very accident prone. Hope no one was hurt.

My weekend is hopefully going to be quiet so I can relax. I even shut my phone off so they can't call me into work. I haven't had a day off in almost three weeks so the quiet time alone is much needed.

Mystic: Is it even legal to work all 7 days in the week? :O

All I can say is...OH MY GAWD!!!

ktbee: I have no idea. My one job kind of doesn't exactly follow labor laws though.

I. I don't even. What? xD Why were they shooting guns inside in the first place?!

Mine isn't too crazy, just the usual regression to my childhood ways when I acted like a boy. My parents are bugging me to take a shower and get dressed and GO OUTSIDE. I mean, seriously. I'm trying for a personal record in wearing the same clothes. xD

Wow. I hope you get your deposit/whatever back and don't have them slap fees for terminating your lease/rental agreement early. I'd sure as hell move out too, I don't want my life to be at risk just because I'm at home watching TV and the neighbor is an idiot with firearms.

Thank God I don't live in the US but in a country where firearms are illegal.

Then again this is Australia. Every other living creature on this island is out to kill us. Found a large brown spider the size of my hand on the washing line the other day while doing the laundry. X_X

Wow, That's horrible. Firearms are much more dangerous than they are useful.. I know how it is with crazy gun-owning neighbors. My next door neighbor committed suicide using a firearm while the gas for the oven was left on. I live in a condo, so it could have caused a disaster if some how the gas were to ignite.. I feel bad for my neighbor, but what he did was wrong. A world without guns would be a much better one. I know it's a bit off-topic, but it feels in this day and age neighbors just completely ignore one another.. Everyone just communicates with the people they choose to keep in their inner-circle.

Haha, I can totally relate.
My neighbors shoot their guns off all time! I've gotten used to it
and I don't wake up as terrified from it as I used to.

My weekend was decent, I wasn't expecting to
do anything but I ended up renovating my room and hanging out with a couple of friends.
