Last but definatly not least. My boyfriends voice. I just love listening to him talk. Especially when he whispers to me when I'm half asleep.

My favorite sound int he world is when I have my head laid on my fiance's chest and I can hear their heart beating. Yes, I know that sounds corny but it's true.

Um...music? I'd find that obvious though.

I really like the sound of the cafeteria at the school I teach at. Maybe because I'm hungry, or maybe because deep down inside, I realize I really enjoy the giant mass of sweating, yelling high school kids.

I love the sound of the saxophone and the bassoon, but perhaps that's because I play them? XD

I love the sound of a rainstorm.
To the point of fucking obsession.
Just the sound of raindrops hitting various things gives me the chills!

The sound of thunder and rain (seems to be a big one.)
The sound of cars moving off in the distance.
The sound of coffee making.
The sound of a cat purring .
The sound of wind chimes outside.
The sound of owls outside my place.
The sound of the whippoorwill (a bird.)

But my favorite sound is the sound you hear when you go to a lake and there are Loons (a type of bird) calling at night, sort of a creepy sound but I like it a lot.

The sound of the rain pouring and hitting various surfaces, the music being strummed from an acoustic guitar and the sizzling of bacon on the stove.

Screaming children [drool] makes me so hungry.

I think that the sound I love the most is the sound of rain or a good thunder storm. I really like the sound of rain against a tent when I'm all snuggled into a sleeping bag. Also the crackle of a camp fire. Or baby giggles.

I like hearing window chimes, or glasses tinkling during get-togethers. I like the sound of heavy steady rain, and when a rare car passes by and I hear the splash its wheels make from the puddles in the road. Happy pets purring or playing. I also like listening to the wind howl in the middle of the night-- it used to terrify me as a kid, and now it makes me smile knowing I've grown out of that fear. I also like hearing songs in acapella or in church choirs.
