i'm so happy, he's such a lovely man.. we've been together for almost 2 years but we've known each other for about... well almost 7 to 8 years now!

we've been thinking about it, we're not getting married for at least 2 to 3 years, so that gives up plenty of time to save money for it, but we want a small service and a HUGE after party ;D

the ring doesn't really have a meaning, i saw it one day and fell in love with it.. IT SPINS!!!!!! lol tho he wants to buy me a proper engagement ring but i love this one!!!!

Congratulations! I love that ring. I'm engaged too, but my partner and I don't have our rings yet - we're designing our own in the time it takes us to save for them. I'm thinking of getting us some cheap stand-ins in the meantime though. Even though we're both guys, we're going to have "women's" sets...because they're just more fun.

I'm technically engaged, seeing as he asked and i said yes, but he doesn't count that incident. It was the 1st of January this year, and he randomly asked me on a spur of the moment thing. I laughed and said yes. If anyone asks i now say he's my fiance, but he insists he'll do it properly at some point. He looked at me in horror when i told him i don't want a traditional ring though. I'd rather not have a ring at all if i'm honest. I don't really like wearing them, and i don't really see the need for spending so much money on something i'm only going to wear for a short time.
