This is a flower from the first plant I've grown. I started from seeds. I wish I could have had it inside but my house is to small :( Even though it's going into winter are there any tips I could have for growing my own plants/flowers? I don't water on their leaves and I only water when I stick my finger down into the soil and it's dry. I read also read the flower package before starting to grow them when I first planted them. I avoid where I think the roots are., and don't go down more than 1/2". I live where there are a lot of pine trees and want to know if there are any types of plants I can grow in the acidic soil. Am I going to have to stick with pots and boxes?
