Yes, it is legal in my state with a card. I'm hoping eventually they make it legal fo everyone like in Colorodo and Washington State. I think everyone should be able to if they want to.
i honestly don't care cause I don't want to/never tried it xD
I think this is one experiance everyone should try once. It is not an addictive substance, and one time use is not going to forever haunt you. It is a very different feeling, and you almost feel as though you're on a different spiritual plane. Not always, but many times when I smoke I feel that way.
do i wanna know what we're talking about?
Marijuana....*sheepish grin*
I heard it can make you very sick... my one coworker says she threw up both times she tried it.
I've seen people get sick off of trying to smoke the resin, but I've never been sick off of it. Of course I don't go crazy with it either. Just a little is more than enough for me.
In all honesty I haven't had any for a couple of weeks. Starting to run low and also low on money at the moment. I have a tiny bit tucked aside in case the urge hits me...but it's nice because it isn't like my medicine I take daily....I stop that, and I get very sick very quick as my body doesn't adjust well to the sudden drop in serotonin..... |
How long does one smoke last?
Depends on how you smoke it. :)
I prefer it in a pipe, as I can have just a little and then put the rest down until I want more. Sometimes that's all I will do for the evening. It's kind of like drinking. You could sit and do it until you get sloshed, or you can be responsible with it. I think it's stupid it is still frowned upon, especially when it's done responsibly. |
I just have never tried it... I know a guy who has a bunch of it but i never really wanted to try.
My family uses it. my sister wanda because she has a lot of bone aches that the drugs the doctors give her don't work. my sister mary because of her back.. my mom doesn't but it might help her.. 'frown' My sister darny does every once in a while sos he's less of a pain in everyones butt.. and well my sister michele does not use it responsibly 'makes face'. even my room mate uses it for his body aches.. heck he gets this itty bitty amount, and it lasts him all month because he only uses it when he's in extreme pain.

It does work just as well or better than any painkillers a doctor would prescribe. I'm also a very much paranoid of normal doctors, as well, as I think the majority are out to make money and sign you up for a life long prescription drug. Not my thing. I want to get off of the one I'm on now as the side effects are scary and if I were not able to afford it, I couldn't physically function. I think that's what scares me most.
My use of the other natural drug is not addicting, and if I really am struggling I can physically do without. I don't use it as a crutch per say, but if I'm very anxious/wound up or say I'm having a really bad month period wise it honestly is a godsend. I've already been to the doctor about the second and they ran tests and says the only thing they can think of is I've got a higher amount of hormones in my bloodstream. Other than that everything checked out ok. *shrugs* Wow I guess I'm really getting into it but I think that would be the one thing I wouldn't want to completely give up, if I had to suddenly make sacrifices in my life. Oh and as a disclaimer I keep all said stuff hidden and will not do it with the kids here, nor will I talk about it. I will wait until they are technically adults and then breech the subject when it is comfortable. Right now they're too young and not only am I worried about their mother trying to use it as a way to prove my husband unfit, but I'm also not wanting them to discover it until they're much older and think it is the 'demon drug' that the schools tell them it is. I would like to see them do well in life, and well if you abuse anything it can be a hinderance....I could EASILY see a younger version of myself getting into trouble and really making my life difficult, not doing well in school, etc due to not being on the 'right side' of the law. When you're young I don't think you can really grasp the consequences of it all. |
I wished everybody treated it like you do Izumi.
I think it's great that we can talk freely about it and not really feel like we shouldn't.
Me too, Neph. It shouldn't be demonized...it just makes it that more alluring.
Saying that...I have no desire to try any other illegal drugs. I know too well that some just lead you down a spiral that is difficult if not impossible to pull yourself out from. |
I feel people shouldn't be judged by what they do.
Well it depends on what they're doing. As long as they aren't hurting others, I don't see a problem with it. You do have some form of free will.
Laws that piss me off are the ones that are just trying to protect some of the more obscure issues. Like for instance the dog on a leash law. Ok I live in a place where you can't have a dog over 20lbs, so they are small. They also won't let me have a fence around my house unless it comes down every night....OK how can I play fetch with my dogs? They have never bitten anyone either, so while I understand WHY the law is there but they are honestly no harm to anyone. |
They won't let you have a fence? That makes no sense to me. Is it one of those snobby neighborhood that tell you how high your grass should be too?
It's a trailer park that is very peculiar about it's rules. It's mainly elderly people, but there are younger people dotted in. Still, the owner is a total bitch and very anal. I don't mind where I live, and the neighbors are really nice...I will also be happy when we finally find a way to move out as well, though.
that makes no sense about the fence!
It's just their analness around here. I could find other things. Heck, the new manager wanders the park with his clip board and since we are the very last street and we are next to the woods he will go behind our houses and make notes. A few of my friends in the park got notices they had to paint their sheds, because they weren't 'up to park standards'.
It's nice to a certain extent, as the place truly feels more distinguished than your average park. People actually care about what their place looks like....either that or it's just management threatening to kick them out. :P |
A fence can be nice looking though...
I like fences.. they keep dogs in 'nods'
That would be awkward without one. Like do you have a space that is "your yard" or is it just the trailers?
Kind of...There's probably about 20ft between each trailer-ish? That's just an estimate. The thing is usually your neighbor doesn't use the yard that is their 'back' as trailers don't typically have a door on both ends. At least not the ones I've seen here. The doors are on the same side of the trailer. That being said, the neighbor next door that shares our front yard is super nice and honestly could care less. We're on really good terms and I don't bat an eyelash if her visitors use our extra parking space or that she is constantly having company over. She seriously seems like she has a party every night, there's so many cars! I know it isn't the case because her brother lives right down the road in the park and him and her nephew are really nice. It's a really decent place.
I guess I'm so defensive about it because I always thought rather poorly of trailer parks. When my husband suggested moving into one to try to cut costs (as our $500+ a month dinky apartment wasn't cutting it). We're paying probably less than $100 less a month but in the end of it we keep the trailer and then our rent is only $290 a month (by then it will probably be higher, though). The sad thing is we've been kinda up and down about moving in with my parents. It would help in some aspects, but I think we would end up wanting to kill each other at the end of it!! |
