Hey there im making this thread hear for discussion of pokefarm pets! pokefarm pets are a really fascinating thing. I think the whole site is very very appealing. both visually and with all the things to do! Plus you have a community of the nicest people ever!

So if you have pokefarm pets, bring them in! show them off, battle them, or just chat!

I've been on there, and I do have to hand it to the site admin Kolink because he's excellent at implementing a lot of unique features for his site, but I just don't like his attitude all that much. There's been a lot of drama with the site mods there, and it only takes four or five months to really obtain everything if you're serious about it. I liked it when their event Pokemon were breedable, last I checked, they stopped doing that.

All in all, it's not a site I'm returning to in any serious capacity. I played there for a year solid, but the bad started to outweigh the good.

Especially when I helped the admin do art for one of his projects and he took five months to pay me. =| I was about ready to lose my patience with him completely but I was scared that if I made a public stink about it I'd never get paid at all. (And I mean $120 worth of art was done. He hired a handful of artists, gave us tasks, then decided he didn't want to use the art. He still needed to pay us after making us do all that work that he promised to pay for.)

He claims to have apparently contacted Nintendo and all that and apparently they don't care he's profiting from a franchise they own. With him nearly not paying me, I was a month shy of pulling out a phonebook to test his claims and do everything I could to shut that place down. But I got paid and I left.

So, fair warning, don't ever actually consider working for that site in any way, even if just as a forum mod. Too much drama.

I admit it's a fun place to hang out, play, and waste some time... but it definitely got ruined for me.
