St Patricks day!
So I'm uber ready for St. Patties day. I love this day...mainly because no one looks at me weird when I pull out bright green eyeshadow but I digress.
So Mene what are your plans for this Irish of Irish days? I plan on going all out -like usual- in green. Mom and I are having green pancakes for breakfast. Going to work, then after heading over to my boyfriends house to do green vodka shots with his mom ^-^ |
Wish I didn't have to go back to school on the 17th. But, did kind of a celebrating fo rit tonight with the boyfriend and did a carbomb tonight.
Thankfully, I don't have to work or go to class on Monday, so I'll take some fixings for some good drinks back with me to school so I can enjoy myself on Sunday. The sad thing is, I will be missing Corned beef and cabbage for dinner cooked by my boyfriend's mom. Oh well, making Shepard's pie with the boyfriend tomorrow. Maybe I could see about making something close to it myself... well, a broke ass graduate student type meal of something involving the crapload of potatoes I have thanks to my wasteful roommate. Yeah.. that's all I have planned. Not much, kinda depressing. Oh well ^^" Why oh why did my spring break have to be last week and not this week? Oh well. Hope you have a good and safe one! |
My only plan is that I'm going to wear some green. St. Patty's Day is one of my favorite holidays! But I have no one to celebrate it with D: And I don't drink so I'm not going out D:

I'm planing on staying home plus find one of my green shirts ware them. maybe go bug my mom and if I had green nail polish. I would paint my dog's toe nails maybe.

I'm not really a big fan of St. Patrick's Day. On the one hand, yay, I get to celebrate part of my heritage, that's awesome!
But on the other hand, uh...you know the story about St. Patrick driving all the snakes out of Ireland? Those "snakes" were druids. It's a celebration of religious genocide. Not so "HELL YEAH" anymore. D: ...at least green is one of my favorite colors. [sweat] |

My plans... well, I'll keep my avatar decked out in green and gold for a few more days before working on an Easter themed avatar. As for the day... well, I'm not going out because I'm still sick. I don't want to be out in public and cough, sneeze, blow my brains out (aka, my nose) in front of people. That sucks and its rude! |
Ah yes, the one day where my drunken shenanigans are socially acceptable and being a ginger makes you a badass. xD
(Even though gingers are always pretty badass. lol) The boyfriend, Hawley, & I went fishing. Planned on getting drunk and partying, but the most I got out of the day was a small 5 beer head change. lol We were supposed to go party with Hawley's boyfriend, Heidi & her's...but he wanted us to "wait until his parents went to sleep" before we could go over. That had bad written all over it. What are we Sixteen? What happens when one of us gets drunk and rowdy? *coughmecough* Do mommy & daddy kick us outt? Nope, not trying to drink & drive. Wish Heidi would have just made her boyfriend go over to her house and be social instead of sneaking around like kids. :P lol aaaaaannnyways...Max & I ended up under our kick it bridge/campout spot, I intended to drink, but I ended up not feeling the whole thing. Lamest St.Patty's day EVER. lol But yeah, enough ranting. [rofl] |
