The idea of this thread is simple. Just tell us about something good that happened to you today! It doesn't matter if it's something big or something really small, as long as it made you feel good. I've participated in a thread like this on another message board, and it's particularly helpful when you're having a not-so-great day because it forces you to remember that not everything was bad!

So share the positives from your day, and rejoice with everyone else about their good things too!

A made a bad decision and bought chicken wings. They were so yummy and now I have leftovers.

Sometimes small treats make for a better day.

They certainly can! Now the big question is... were they spicy?

Nah, just mild. My taste buds don't much care for really spicy things x3.

Went to the movies and saw the croods it was a funny yet cute movie. it made me laugh a few times

I got to see my stepdad, mom, stepbrother, other stepbrother, and stepbrother's fiance today! It was so nice to see them! I'm 2 hours from my parents. But one of my stepbrothers is in California (clear across the country from me!) and the other in Pennsylvania (clear north of me!)! We don't see them often because we live in Florida. But they came down for my stepdad's birthday to surprise him! I've been working but I got to have dinner with them on Thursday and then went to the Kennedy Space Center with them today! Even though I'm so freaking sick right now, it was so good to see them!

I got some bubble tea! Yay!

Oh.. and it's me and my boyfriend's 25th month today.. but c'mon, bubble tea.

usually i'd be like I DIDN'T DIE HURRAY!!!, but today was actually pretty good overall.

i bought some books, a new jacket, and stuffed my face full of chili dogs. it's hard to go wrong with RETAIL THERAPY AND A FACE FULL OF CHILI OM NOM.

also my hair looked pretty good so... there's that /vain

ooh, bonus nice thing that just happened! my mom asked me if i wanted some enchiladas as i was typing this response. YAY FOOD.

Today I got two free redbox rental codes and got to have a little movie night. And since I'm on spring break, I didn't have to worry about homework needing to be done!

Also, my cousin invited me to go see Alien with him, his fiance, and maybe another of my cousins at a free showing at an omnimax theater on the 5th. I don't get to see my cousins much, so I'm looking forward to it!

gabriela - What books did you buy? And I agree, retail therapy can be very helpful sometimes, as long as you don't spend outside your limits. It helps me sometimes! Just having some new to enjoy can spice things up a little bit.

Risque - Congratulations on your anniversary! May you two have many more months and years.

Maria - That sounds like fun! It's great that you got to see your family. Also, I hope you feel better soon!

admonished nonsense - I'm the same way! I have such a low tolerance for spicy things. Things that some people consider "mild" give me an intolerable burning sensation. Once you get up to "medium," then my mouth is just absolutely on fire. @[email protected] I don't know why I'm so sensitive to it.

I've heard very good things about The Book Thief! It's on my (extremely long) to-read list. I haven't heard of Lisey's Story, though.

I watched Silent Hill: Revelation and Frankenweenie. Of the two, Frankenweenie was easily the most morbid, and it wasn't the one rated R...

I've gotten a lot done and it's only 9.30 so I'll have a lot of time to do fun stuff.
Also I'm house/dog sitting at my parents house and they've got tv so I watched Tv while eating breakfast, which was nice for a change. :)

I get to hang out with someone I haven't in a while.....I also get chocolate! Yes, chocolate makes everything so much better.

I got my cats some scratch pads and they love those things. Made me happy to see them enjoying that.

Are they the type you set on the floor or the type you mount on the wall? My grandmother got some wall-mounted ones for her kitties, they love stretching up while they scratch. But they have the floor kind too, and they like to scratch on those and then take a nap on them.



Today I talked with a friend and just relaxed and watched a lot of TV. It snowed over seven inches today, so while I'm very ready for spring, the snow was pretty. And it made curling up with some television and a blanket that much cozier.

Having the house to myself and this fresh, chocolate cupcake <3

They're the floor ones. I get some once in a while that are at an incline so that's nice for them. They have a huge cat tower too that has lots of vertical scratching posts, but it's packed away now. xP
This occasion was special though because it had been a while since they had something to scratch. Had to get rid of their old ones because of fleas and I hadn't bought any news ones because I didn't want it to get infested and keep the cycle going. @ [email protected]

Today I was productive! Got lots of things done that needed doing. Still managed to not get any studying done, but doing things makes me feel good.

I gots an interview... no job... but interview practice is good :D

My friend gave me a really delicious biscuit. :3

Let's see, I went for a walk and enjoyed the sun then hung out with a friend for a bit and had lunch then went outside more. Simple things make me happy, especially being out in the sun.

I've been on a diet for awhile, and since I'm not trying to lose that much weight, it's taking awhile. Point being the scale finally showed 140 something instead of 150 for the first time this morning. :) 7 lbs down.

Today is a good day I found the limited batch of Ben&Jerry's Cannoli ice cream. been wanting to try it out since it first came out last year. will try it out tonight before I go to bed.

I had some delicious egg rolls for lunch. Also browsed some laptops at the store, I'm going to get one soon.

I sat on my glasses today by accident and didn't break them! ^ - ^
