Personally, I always find myself sleeping on the side that is closest to the door.
I have no idea why it turns out like this, but whenever I try to move to the other side, it feels... wrong.
Do you guys have this problem too? Or are you the complete opposite?

For one, if there are two beds in a room, I will almost always choose the one closest to the window. If somebody tries to claim it after I have I'll glare at them almost to the point of hissing like a cat, lol.
As for sides of the bed, I sleep on the left side when I'm at home. Not sure why that started exactly, but it is the side closest to the window. XD When I'm in hotels I'll usually sleep on the left side of the bed as well even if it's NOT the closest side to the window just because it's what I'm used to at home.
In retrospect, I probably sleep on the left side because I sleep on the left side of my body most of the time which means my body will be facing out and I won't be facing towards any potential partners and breathing in their breath all night long etc etc.

I've only ever had a single bed my whole life but if I go to hotels and I get first pick I sleep on the right side. :>
I can deal with not having the right side but it's just a preference. :> I prefer to lay on my left side and face out rather than in.

I'm strange I sleep on both sides, meaning I rotate during the night. Dunno I guess I don't like how one side gets so warm so I switch to the other side that's cooler. I know it annoys the cat's but I do it in my sleep so no control~!

In my own home, I sleep on the left side of the bed, and I'm not really sure why.
In my old house, I used to think it was because it was the side of the bed that was touching the wall, but now that my bed is in the middle of the room, that is no longer the case :P I don't know. I'm just weird I guess.
In my boyfriend's house I sleep better if I'm on his left side.
It's more comfortable for both of us and it just feels wrong if I'm on the other side of him or his bed.

I've never had a real preference. I mean, I guess I always did like to sleep near the wall. I pretty much just go along with however my bf prefers, though we recently switched. He gets hot and I get cold, so he moved to the outside closer to the fan. It is kind of rough since I get up at night to feed the baby, but I've made it work. If he's fallen asleep in his chair or is out, I usually fall asleep on the couch. For some reason, I can't seem to sleep in the bed without him.

My bed's always had a habit of moving in correspondence to the various changes in my room's furniture. So the actual placement of the bed really has to do with where I'm living and what furniture I have at the time. To make makes worse I'm the type of person who can never truly settle in the room arrangement department. Always have to shift things around.
So which side of the bed do I sleep on? Not loyal to one side or another. Was I perhaps using my laptop on the right or left side of the bed? What about a book, was a reading one of those? Or maybe there's a stack of homework or a plethora of various texts littering the bed.
If I have to share I'll always take the side that's open. Or deviously push them over the side when they least expect it and take the bed for myself.

I tend to gravitate right smack down in the middle even though my 'spot' is the right side of the bed. I sleep on my right side or on my back with my legs thrown all over the place.

Oh my gosh my sister and I both sleep with our legs flailing about at night! My cats get so annoyed because I flail about in my sleep lol! Only one cat has found a safe spot near my head but not too near. Lol one time I almost nommed on him in my sleep when he got to close! >.< Blah cat hair!

In my personal bed, I tend to prefer the right upperhand corner and squish myself as small as possible as to fit in my imaginary boundries. In other places I tend to take prefer to be next to a wall. The solidness of it comforts me somehow I guess xD
I also prefer the bed next to the door, but that's more for convience's sake. I have a ridiculously small bladder and often have to get up during the night.

I tend to have to go to the bathroom at least once at night. So when my family and I go out for vacation I take the bed near the bathroom so I don't wake anyone~

Sometimes I'll sleep on my stomach with all of my extremities stretched out in different directions. Usually that's when I'm having a hard time sleeping, but I think in general I like to take up a lot of space on the bed, so sucks to be whoever's sleeping with me most likely.

I used to always sleep on the right then I moved and my bed was up against the wall so I moved to the left side. I can't stand being by the wall. It just makes me feel like I'm in a box or something. If I'm sharing a bed, I always sleep on the left or the side where I can get out of bed easy if I need to. I just don't like having to climb over someone if I have to get up to do something in the middle of the night.

I sleep in the middle of the bed actually. Sometimes I tend to lean more towards the wall though but when I wake up I'm usually in the middle. :)

I prefer whatever side of the bed I can sleep on my right side, facing out and not facing in. All while making sure my fiancé doesn't end up facing me snoring in my face when he moves to his right side.
In other words: I like to sleep on the left side of the bed when you look at it from the end.
though, I do sleep on the right side right now since I sleep alone in a full sized bed at home.

I always sleep against a wall. Doesn't matter which side, but always against a wall. At home, because I have books and papers/pens, my glasses and assorted things on the right side of my bed, so my body stays to one side. At my boyfriends, it's on the right side that I sleep, because he always sleeps on the outside of the bed, no matter which direction it's facing. Even when we go camping, I sleep on the side of the air mattress that is against the inside of the tent. It means I have to crawl over him to go to the bathroom, but whatever.

I have to sleep near a bedstand or table. Having glasses for so long it's beyond a habit now. But I can sleep either side as long as I can steal all the blankets . My fiance is the same way, sans blanket stealing, either side is sleepable. If we're not in our own room, he likes to take the side closest to the door.

I tend to sleep on the left side of the bed, and I have to have some sort of stand/table nearby to put my contact case and solution on (right now it's hot as hell here, so I've added a fan to the stand for good measure). And, for whatever reason, I have to have some sort of sheet or blanket covering part of my body (even in the summer) because I'm a bit of a weirdo and it doesn't feel quite right otherwise.

I do notice that I do sleep on the side closest to the door when I sleep alone. When my boyfriend stays over, he will most likely take that side since that's the side with the fan on it.

I sleep in the middle but slightly to the left side. I think that is mainly because it is the side where my lamp is and where I take my contact lenses out at night.

It all depends on where the cat sleeps if he's on my bed or not. If he isn't, then I typically sleep on my stomach and about the middle of the bed. If he's on the bed, anywhere that'll be comfy.
