Hey, me too. It's a really cool language. Setting all your electronics to German (or any language) and then actually sticking to that and not changing it back is a great way to build up vocabulary.

I would like to learn German too...it's about 4th on the list of languages I want to learn, not including the two I can already speak...

I did learn a bit of German when I was in primary school, for a year. So I remember Guten Tag, meaning hello...

I took German from k-5 to 12th grade (that's 13 years for anyone who doesn't know how American school works.) I loved it, but I didnt learn as much as I wish I had. The structure of the sentences and everything is different, so it's difficult to learn how to say things in the correct order. It's worth the time and effort it takes for sure!!

I took German in elementary school for a semester, but not much stayed with me; however, I was in Switzerland and my friends are from Hamburg Germany that live there, so I had to speak some German. As a result I have actually remembered and learned some phrases. This summer I focused more on Italian and French.

I've learned only a little German, too bad the last time I actually DID learn it was waaaaaaaaaaay back in high schoool. I remember bits and pieces, but not enough.

I am not sure they even offered german to us in high school. I remeber taking spanish
