It really, really is. And by that time, you've already committed to this conversation and the other person thinks you know them, so you have to just fake it.

I have terrible memory, and ran into somebody who knew my name, but I had no idea what hers was! I couldn't even remember where I knew her from! xD |

I'd just go "Oh hey, how are you" and totally skip the name XD |
