Justin Bieber is out on bail for a DUI charge out of Florida and is currently awaiting his court date.

What would be your judgement?

My judgement is that he's going to get away with it scot-free. My judgment is also that he's a spoiled brat. Did you see his mug shot? He clearly knows/thinks that the justice system can't touch him because he's famous.

If it were me I would punish him for it, but I doubt he will be. Even if he is punished for it it won't be a proper punishment. It'll be something like a month of community service that he never actually does.

I never liked Justin Bieber, when he first became famous as a 14 year old I thought he was over-rated and not even that cute a boy with a bowl cut...now any respect I may have had for him is gone. He's let his fame get to him and seems to think he's above civilised law abiding behaviour which is just not right...

i'd say he should be treated like any other person charged with a DUI. seriously the guy is a human being just like the rest of us. i mean come on people make mistakes. never understand the people who bitch and moan whenever a celebrity is caught doing something like this. most everyone i know and their mums drink and drive, he was just unlucky enough to have gotten caught. better luck next time justin!

I don't think I've seen anyone anywhere actually mention this...but you have to consider, too, that he's not just some idiot with a DUI. He's too young to drink in the U.S. So not only is he an idiot with a DUI, he's an underage idiot with a DUI. He should be punished accordingly, but he never will be.

I'm with Ely on this one. He'll probably walk in to court for his hearing and get at most a slap on the wrist, no jail time, nothing. He's going to end up getting away with this crap and he won't get the punishment us little people would end up with.
An yeah, he should be charged for the DUI. As a guest in our country, he should be following our laws, and one of those is that the legal age for alcohol is 21. He is 19, I don't give two cares that the drinking age in Canada is 19, just because you're famous doesn't mean you can get away with things.

Just watch... he'll be the next Lindsay Lohan. Another child star/celeb who got famous too young too quickly.

Hugely cynical me wonders how anyone can be how this guy is, he's like a perfect stereotype of a teen star going off the rails. But it's all because of his age, isn't it. Young people generally have their head firmly implanted up their butts; young people who get famous, their heads often end up so far up there it needs surgery to remove. It's because of that that young and famous people can so easily turn into utter douches, because they've not been alive long enough to learn that the world doesn't actually revolve around them, and there are consequences to being a massive jerk.

Well there are many fans of his that support him, or others that simply don't care and are indifferent to him... I particularly wouldn't shed a tear if he was erased from existence.. And I do wonder why he really makes headline news.

But my main issue is though... It would have been a very different story if while driving drunk, he killed an innocent family with kids!

Hence why I hate drink drivers, and sorry there is no excuse, I worked in bars and nightclubs since I was 17 until only recently, and have respect for alcohol, and understand its effects. I also drive and have a young family, so have no sympathy for drink drivers, why do it really? I dont know what the courts are like in the u.s but in the u.k they are still way to lenient on drink drivers

I wish they would find the douche guilty, make him serve his time and all the little teenyboppers and previously pervy mom's (since hes finally over 18) would forget about him and he drifts off into obscurity. I never liked him or understood his appeal and truthfully the way the celebutards can get away with anything as long as they can throw money around makes me sick. They should not be above the law.

He's guilty and he should just completely lose his career. He is so selfish and does not care about anyone from what I've seen. He's let all of this get to his head...I remember watching a video of the paparazzi following him and he was in his farrari or whatever and he stopped in the middle of an interstate and was holding up traffic and b!tching out the photographer. He is so classy, jk...I'm glad he got busted, stupid guy.

Guaranteed he's going to get away with it. He always gets away with the stupid shit he does. He's so spoiled and arrogant it's annoying. I love how the world is simultaneously getting completely pissed off with his shit too. Celebrities making fun of him on twitter is my favourite thing.

Did anyone see that virus video on facebook that was going around saying he killed a 7 year old while drink driving?

So, normal every day people get these all the time and get off on about $2,000-$5000 in charges. He might get about that, which will be nothing to him I'm sure. My main issue is that he's rich, he can afford not to drink and drive. As in, he can afford to pay someone to drive him around and he still chose to drive drunk. I'm not saying it's okay to drive drunk when you don't have as much money, only that he had much more of a choice in the matter. Celebrities and other rich people should never get duis, because they can pay people to take them anywhere.
