Alright, I'll give on the porn argument. I don't really care too much about it anyway, as it can easily be avoided as you said. However, I still think they have some issues with the thinspo blogs and the reporting system is still too confusing. They also tend to not do anything about the reports sent into them. You really shouldn't have to go find directions in order to report something. [sweat]

Reporting tumblrs is definitely over complicated, and then when they do receive reports, they don't handle them very well. They took down a blog dedicated to making fun of men's public profiles on OKCupid. The posts never said anything other than exactly what was these guy's profiles, wasn't calling them names, nothing. They took that down. But they leave up blogs where guys submit creepy photos they took of women without their consent or knowledge. Good job, tumblr. Good job.

It makes me hesitant to look through tumblr in public at all. I always look behind me to make sure the coast is clear and hold the phone close to my chest so no one can see. ^^; Sigh. I wish people didn't tag stuff like that so inappropriately. Edit: OH. You said the tag was relevant though. A lot of times I find that it's not. Yes, that's what I'm talking about with the porn! I'm not so much of a prude that I would die if I see a penis or something, but why does porn have to pop up under everything?
I have found I don't have that issue anymore, Maxi, as long as I keep the explicit filter on. Before that filter existed, though, God....Tumblr was not fit for public spaces. [lol] @Cherry: That's it right there. They ignore reports and trying to get harassment taken down is a battle. It's almost best to just ignore shit than report it on Tumblr. I've heard more than once about those seemingly sexist report handlers, as well. Seems like if a man has a problem it gets fixed, but if a woman does, no dice. Why do I use that site again? [lol] Oh right...fandoms. |

I remember my username, but not my password. I can't get a new password though because the email I used for that account is long gone, and also I lied about my age when I signed up and can't remember what my fake birthday was. >_< So yeah, that account is lost forever.
Not that it really matters, I wouldn't use it for anything even if I could get back in. I just feel nostalgic about it. |

I never made an account on Neopets, but I had a lot of the plushies. They sold them at my favorite tween clothing store when I was a tween. I thought they were so cute, but never got around to checking out the site. I still have those plushies actually; need to offload them on ebay to make a couple bucks. [lol] But... but... this squirrelthing has a cloud pattern on its fur. AND THIS COW IS PINK!

I'm only nineteen, so I might not be too old for some of these things. I am crazy about old cartoons, and I'll watch kid movies all the time. Its what really inspired me to start drawing after all. I can always use the inspiration. I go out of my way to find old cartoons or hunt down cartoons I had forgotten long ago, too. I also can't deny my love for...old Barbie PC games. Barbie Magic Genie, Secret Agent Barbie, I love them all. I'm also crazy about stuffed animals, especially Pokemon plushies. I...I spent $40 on a large Fennekin plushie for my birthday not too long ago ;-;' Edit: ALSO NEOPETS. YES. I make a new account every two years or so, after forgetting my old accounts. I just bought a Lupe plushie from eBay a few months ago. The kind they had in kids meals at McDonald's years ago. I'm going to collect all of the different colors and other neopets eventually. I regret nothing. |
