Odd eating habbits.
Does anyone else lick/suck all the seasoning off of chips before chewing them?
How about pull off the toppings and eating them first form a pizza? |
|
Yay! Samers!
I don't know why. I've always been the kin to separate everything I eat. When I was little I didn't like things to touch. I guess i never fully got out of that. XD |
|
I've met a girl at a camp I was at a few weeks ago, and she told me that everything she eats she has to cut up into four pieces. I think that's pretty interesting.
|
I don't like a lot of pizza sauce and a lot of commercial pizza shops put lots of it on. So I pull off the cheese/veggies eat that. Then scrape the bread parts till not so saucy.

I do not like it when different textures mix in my foods. For example, I do not want crunchy onions in my otherwise soft potato salad. So I'll pick out anything that messes up the texture of what I'm eating.
My dad eats all of the chocolate off of candy bars before he'll eat the filling. |

I'm like that with some textures as well.
I like coconut milk but toasted coconut can die(again) in a fire. |
|
Coconut in general is vile to me. :P The only place I like it is in Pina Coladas.
|
I like shredded coconut pieces in chocolate [drool]
|
|
You can give Aganab all of my coconut as well, hummy. Blech.
|
All the coconut! [squee]
|
Hold up. Let me go collect every coconut candy from every mixed box of chocolates I've ever had and give it to you. [lol]
My entire family hates coconut so it just gets thrown away. There was one family gathering that an "outsider" brought an expensive coconut cake to and no one touched it. Poor thing. |
One time my mom made "German Chocolate cake" IT was a lovely cake...then the coconut topping. Nuuuuu!
|
Whenever I eat chocolate, I have to swish water through my mouth, spit it out, then drink water. It's weird. xD |
My boyfriend's sister has to eat food on separate plates. She will eat each part of the meal at different times and either completely clean her plate off or get a new one after eating each thing.
I like to mix things together I guess. If I have a bland food of sort. Is that BBQ sauce on my plate that still has rice or mashed potatoes on it? Oh, that would be lovely together! I have yet to find a combination to mix with rice or mashed potatoes I don't like. Then again, Italian dressing hasn't ended up in the potatoes yet, that doesn't sound good though. I can be a texture person too. No crunchy stuff in soft stuff. That's part of the reason I don't like onions in really any cooking; not pasta sauce, lasagna, meatloaf, nothing. |
I like to mix soda and orange juice together, it's yummy. I've been doing it since high school, I always got the "but that's so GROSS!" comments but they never phased me.
|
The way I eat Mini Wheats is by placing one on the spoon, frosting down so that's what my tongue gets and dip it in a glass of milk.
I can't stand 'em when they get soggy and they do so fast if they sit in milk. |
I eat candies in layers, but only if they're big enough. I don't bother with stuff like m&m's or skittles, or things like that. But a kitkat will be eaten layer by layer. Same with wafer cookies. My favorite to eat like this is ferrero rocher. They have the nuts and chocolate layer, then the wafer sphere, then the melty chocolate around the hazelnut. The best.
|
I lick off the chip seasoning. People started looking at me like I was gross when I was in high school, so I started doing it after putting the chip inside of my mouth. Jerks couldn't let me enjoy it so now I only get to enjoy one side of the seasoning properly. *woe*
When having mashed potatoes and gravy I make it like a volcano (doesn't everyone?) then eat around the outside as much as possible until I puncture the wall and the gravy comes flowing out. Then I eat the rest of it. Why? BECAUSE I CAN! Muahahaha! |
I eat my least favorite foods (or the ones that are least convenient) first, then work my way down to my favorites when I am presented with a meal. I also lick seasoning off occasionally, and I (or at least I used to) chew sandwiches and some other finger foods so that they had straight, flat lines.
On a side note, I cannot stand the texture of meat fat most of the time, or anything else "slimy and gritty" because I often get a gag reflex from it. I cannot eat most gluten/wheat most of the time because it makes my stomach act up. [:(] |
