Ok, I guess I can use one of my other takes that turned out ok, but at the same time... it still bothers me, it's not perfect... But basically I'm signing almost what I said in my first spoken video. Also the reason I pulled my hair back is because it works ebtter with signing and facial expressions if one's hair is back. I'm also mouthing WAY too much - what I do more of when I'm nervous.
Roughly: Ok, Pim! Told me to sign, but sorry if you don't know sign as I can't talk and sign at the same time. My name is Cloud, not always that name. Name before Nemo. Been around Mene around 2010... 4 years, can't remember. Favorite thing do, take pictures. My friends tease me because I have always have my camera on me in my bag (or purse). Question: IF you could travel, where would you go?

The way that I do mine, is I film mine through Quicktime and that automatically saves to the computer and I upload from there. :)

Yep, that's what I'm doing. It will not show up for me. It's fine, I can link it. It works and y'all can still see the video.
Maria: I can relate to it being weird, but also knowing I should be comfortable with recording myself because of my major. Deaf Studies kind of leads towards towards recording yourself.
I hope that the end of the year goes alright for you. And also that your boyfriends thing tonight goes well for him as well! :)

It does show up... it just won't work for me. I don't know why but it really never has worked for me. Ever. But eh, whatever it's fine. I can just link videos, it is no big deal.

It's kind of funny that we have the same problem with communicating - you with signs and me with speaking XD I get overly excited and so when I do, I talk to fast. I do that when I teach - I have to learn to SLOW DOWN XDDD
haha yeah - the voice echoes in your sinus cavity and all that - so you're hearing like an amplified weird version of you XD I especially hate leaving voice mails over the phone D: I think they sound funny D:
Funny thing is though, with signing as long as I'm not recording myself, I'm normally fine. >.< It's just seeing myself, and I go "GAH!" And throw myself off. xD I have to remind myself to sign slow when I'm around my bestie, who's a beginner signer, so she can't understand me at full speed.
Yeah... I'm ok with my voice that I hear, but hearing it on recordings... No thanks, I'd rather sign!
My voice sounds very manly over the phone, at least in my opinion. Every time I do my voicemail message I have to do it a million times until I'm satisfied that I don't sound like a dude.
Cloud - XD I think seeing yourself do the signs would be hard D: What confuses me is when I'm learning a dance of some sort ( I was in show choir...and I teach dances to my students)...it's hard for me to learn it if the person teaching me is facing me and they aren't mirroring. They want me to raise my right hand for example...it's easy for me to know that when they raise their left while facing me...but if they raise THEIR right and expect me to raise my right - I can't do it XD
Ely: I think that's why I talk quietly. Because quieter I talk, the better I sound, maybe? *shrugs*
Maria: Yeah, it just throws me off -I am better now at it than I used to be, but at the same time, it is still a constant challenge.

@Cloud: I talk pretty softly too most of the time. Part of it is shyness, and part of it is just not wanting to come off as brash, I suppose. Because I can really project my voice if I try.
Ireland is a beautiful country! I've been there back in 2006. That would be cool if you could go over and meet your family! :D
And I can relate to the music issue - I'm totally the same way.

I agree on the music thing. I love Justin Timberlake to death but I really do just love most music in general. For me I have trouble saying what my favorite movie is.
And I would kill to go to Ireland! I've been wanting to see the UK in general since I was at least a preteen.
