Oh jweze I wished I actually owned all of the games on my list, those are just the ones I've played (well, he ones I remember anyway).
And I'm not sure who made masquerade, but he art is good, similar to Lords of water deep in overly grotesque characterization. I'll have to check out Citadels now though. Also *steals your dice basket*.

Oh haha, well, the list of games I've played would be quite long, and it would include most of the games in your list. x_x
If it's the same game as I'm thinking, it's by the same designer. Citadels is an excellent game, and I suspect you'd like it if you enjoyed Masquerade. I wasn't exactly impressed by the art for Citadels, but that's not usually something I'm looking for anyway. If you want cool art, check out Dixit. It's another one of those lighthearted family games much like Balderdash, only instead of obscure words and their definitions it's a bunch of these big cards with pictures on them and words or phrases used to describe them.
Haha. I love my dice. I recently added some D20s to my basket because I'm in a DnD campaign now and finally have a reason to own dice with a number of sides besides six. :P

I just tried to buy One Night Werewolf, but sadly the store was so
don't out - the owner said they sold out right away.

I just bought Citadels! (And Avalon, and Letters of Marque!)
I'm excited to play it. :')
Also, my next paycheck I'm buying Pandemic and it's expansions. SUPER pumped for it.

I'm interested in trying Masquerade as well; I believe that's a Bruno Faidutti game? He is the designer of Citadels, another of my favorite games along that same vein. :)
Also, hi Robutt, I heard you like BSG the board game! That's definitely one of my favorites when I have the attention span for a four-hour game. But I really like hidden role mechanics, so that's a large part of why. BSG is also my favorite television series. :P
I'll come back here and post a list of my collection at some point. o3o For now, enjoy a picture of it!
Alright, here is the contents of my game collection:
Galaxy Trucker (plus all expansions)
Cosmic Encounter (plus all expansions)
Battlestar Galactica (plus two expansions)
Coup
The Resistance
Citadels
Hanabi
Innovation
Takenoko
Space Alert
Android: Netrunner (plus some expansions)
Hive
Shadow Hunters
Tales of the Arabian Nights
Cutthroat Caverns
Space Cadets: Dice Duel
Twilight Struggle
Diplomacy
Scotland Yard
Balderdash
Dixit
Pandemic
Fiasco
Scrabble (three of them, in fact)
Acquire
Munchkin
Clue

I think I might have, maybe, drooled a tad upon clicking that.
The dice basket is like the cherry on top, hehe.
I don't own many games myself, however, I have the luxury of having a well stocked game store and friends to play there with.
There are two games I haven't seen mentioned here that I love: Zombies! and Thunderstone. Thunderstone is a deck building game (and not usually for everyone) but both games are very fun. :D
Also, it has not been officially released yet, but there's a game from Kickstarter that I funded a while back called King's Forge that I was able to play a mock version of and it is quite amazing - especially if you're into dice. So much dice. All the rolling. <3
I highly recommend checking it out when it's finally launched (which should be sometime later this year, I believe).

I'm not a huge board game player but the majority of the reason for that is because most of the time I've got no one to play with.
While at my best friend's New Year's parties though I do enjoy Monopoly (various versions), Clue and Life.
As a child I was also very into Candy Land.

Femme, after my last post, I grew curious and made a list of every game I've played within the last five years on my boardgamegeek account. :P This list also includes the games I haven't tried but want to, but if you filter them out, there are 120 games left on it.
We often play Werewolves in my game group when we have more than ten people, and we've always just made index cards with the role names written on them. I've never tried the one-night version, but I imagine the components are roughly the same. It's still something I'd consider buying though, just because people tend to be less hesitant to play a store-bought game than one you've thrown together at home. Another game we've tried is Two Rooms and a Boom. We just used a deck of playing cards, but I'm pretty sure people would have been more into it if I'd had the actual game.
I hope you enjoy Citadels as much as I think you will. There are so many awesome things about that game. It has simple rules but a lot of strategy and intrigue and it plays very well with anywhere from 2 to 8 players. I'm going to be meeting the designer, Bruno Faidutti, at Gen Con in August. :) I better pick up a copy of Masquerade before I go so I can have him sign it!
I hadn't heard of Letter of Marque, but apparently it's by Faidutti as well. It seems interesting, but I'll have to do more research to find out why it's rated so low on BGG. By Avalon, do you mean The Resistance: Avalon or another game called Avalon?
I like Pandemic. It's a great intro to co-op games. I think the expansion that adds the bioterrorist was the one I found the most appealing, though I haven't tried it yet. I'm really excited about Pandemic Legacy. It's a campaign version where the game evolves with every session.
Haha I really like dice. xD I sometimes get really frustrated with games that use tons of dice because they are often too random for a player to form coherent strategies, but that's not always true. As long as there are decisions to make, and it's not just rolling dice, I'm happy.
Hmm, BGG didn't give me a good idea of what Zombies! is like, but Thunderstone sounds quite a bit like Dominion. Maybe the gameplay is more like Magic though since your goal is to fight monsters instead of buy victory point cards. King's Forge looks pretty interesting at a glance. I'll have to wait until I am at home to watch the videos.

It's very... basic - and easy. I can understand why it would be rated low. You have five ships, two can defend - and you place them on your treasure, and others choose to attack or not. I like it as an in between, or if I'm playing with less board-game intensive people.

I finally got to play it, and it was excellent. I think I prefer Forbidden Desert for co-op though. Which is hilarious, considering I wasn't a big fan of Forbidden Island and they're practically the same. x3
I kind of disappeared for a long time so I'm sorry! Since then I've acquired a cute little game called Empire Engine - same makers as Love Letter. Really fun and easy. I also started playing magic... and oh my gosh, buying those cards is like cardboard crack.

We used to play a lot of board games as a family when I was younger. I liked it a lot, but then we got busy with other things... My mom would sometimes beg us to play some with her after that. We have a lot of them. Maybe someday in the future I'll get back to playing them again. Although, now that I think about it, we do take and play at least one of them to parties we're invited to. Here's a list of some of what we have:
Boggle
Stratego
Rummikub
Clue
Scrabble
Monopoly (original one)
Blizzard of '77
Chess
Checkers
Chinese Checkers
Thunder Dome (I think that's what it's called. Been a VERY long time since I've played this one.)
Mouse Trap
Backgammon
Yahtzee (Not my cup of tea...)
Dominoes
Simon Says
Life
Labyrinth
Trivial Pursuit
Mahjong (Really not into this one, but my mom loved it.)
Battleship
Guess Who
Candyland
Chutes and Ladders
Mancala

Wow, so many games! When I was younger, board games were just things like Monopoly or Scrabble, but I've since been exposed to the larger world of awesome board games through a few friends. ^^
Some of the games I've played and really liked are:
Apples to Apples
Cards Against Humanity
Pandemic
Settlers of Catan
Then of course, the long list of the sort of "classic" board/table-top games:
Backgammon
Battleship
Candyland
Checkers
Chess
Clue
Dominos
Life
Monopoly
Scrabble
Snakes and Ladders
Sorry!
Trivial Pursuit
This is not a complete list of everything I've played; I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch. There was an epic-length space game I played many years ago with my then-roommates which may or may not have been Battlestar Galactica. I played a few new games at PAX a few years ago also, one which was gawd-awful, and one which was really good, but unfortunately I can't remember what either of them were called! (I can't even remember what the good game was about! But I can clearly remember how bad the bad one was, lol.)
Before I finally quit Gaia, I contributed to their Kickstarter for a Frontier Skies card game. I have to say, I was not at all impressed with the final product in terms of presentation and quality control. The contents list in the instructions wasn't accurate, everything was a disorganized mess inside the box, which had some kind of one-size-fits-all plastic insert that didn't make any sense, and the print quality of the box was quite low. Overall, it looked more like a prototype than a finished product, but I guess they are selling it like that? Anyway, I haven't had anyone to play it with yet, so I have no idea if the game is good or not! XD
