How old do you act? Do you act your age? As you've gotten older has your age changed? Gone up? Down? Sideways?

How does your acting age compare to your real age?

For me, my age was pretty high for my real age, but over time my acting age has been slowly dropping over the years.

The age I act now... I probably act about half my age.

I'm twenty, but I look 16, so I have a fun game where people look at me for ages trying to suss out whether or not they should ask me for ID for some things.
One of my work mates said that I looked like I should still be in high school but "act quite mature" (whatever that means), so I guess I act my age at least a little.

I'm told I act mature "for my age" until people find out I'm not 16/17 years old and much older.

I think I act about my age. I'm immature, yes but where's the fun in life if you take everything so serious?

I act my age sometimes.
I act younger at work, and it throws people off whenever they find out my real age.

I honestly don't know, lol. I am told a lot that I act way more mature than my age (im 17), but I don't really notice anything different between me and my fellow teenagers.

I don't really know what age I act. Most people think I'm 16 from looking at me,
and then they're shocked that I have a husband and my own house, hahaha. xD

I think I might seem pretty young because I mostly talk about anime, video games, and Adventure Time…
But I don't act immature or anything.

Apparently I was a very old child. But, now I'm a very young adult

Haha! Does that mean you're 18?
That's the end of childhood and the beginning of adulthood!

I'm 20 but people think I'm 13. I still get asked if I'd like the kids menu!

But personality wise, I've been told that I'm very childlike, so that must add to it

Definitely below my age. Like my mother said, like a brat. XD
My posture, my habits, my attitude... are not a mature person at all.
More like those rebellion teenagers. Not the drug addict type though.

Can't say for sure, really. I'd feel as if my own opinion would override its validity if I were to speak positively for myself (i.e., sure I'm mature!). I do feel I act a bit older than my closest peers—though that doesn't mean I myself am above them.

Eh. The definition of "maturity" is arbitrary at best to me anyway. I don't know what age to put my acting at. I'm no enlightened individual, so I'll put it at equal to my age.

I think a lot of it has to do with how people act and what people say. Through that we can determine how mature we are based on how many people say we act X age

I'd say that's better than basing it on whether or not you're married, have a house, and have 2.5 kids or not.

Oh gosh no some people in marriage are some of the most immature people I know.

Yeah, I get that. I just hear a lot about maturity being based on achievements than who the person is, so I just don't define anyone by maturity—at least not 'conventionally'.

I dunno... I've made a decent number of achievements, but I'm definitely not letting go of my inner child

I am 20 but depending upon the people i'm around then i'll either act my age or be a total clown. Typically around close friends is when I act totally raunchy and witty. Two things you'll either come to love or hate.

But i'm real boring so...

I feel like a 100 years old or maybe 90+ only because i don't really like to keep up with the fast evolving world. Not because i don't like change but because i think the evolution is only skin deep... I have been called an old soul because of my ancient ways with almost everything... i like to eat home cooked food as compared to fast/frozen foods, like to sleep on the floor coz it helps my backaches... and the list goes on

That's quite an age change. What moods determine which ages?
