Yeah, some of the descriptions are mystical-y. Like tarot cards.

I'm a Sagittarius, and my personality is exactly what a Sagittarius's personality is supposed to be (according to what I've read )

On the Chinese zodiac, I'm a fire rat. *It cracks me up every time I mention it * My Egyptian horoscope is Sekhmet, the goddess of justice, which is pretty exact too.

The funny thing is, all of my signs are basically fire signs. So I wonder, does that make me three times as feisty as the normal person?

I don't really take it seriously, but it's fun trying to match up my personality to the descriptions

@Azzie: Hey, Fire Rat sounds pretty awesome.

There is a such thing as being Fire/Earth/Water/Air dominant, yes. :) I haven't learned much about it. I have aspects making a sketchy triangle connecting things in my Water signs, and I wonder if there's a significance to that. There's a perfect (or close enough) triangle in those lines, too! Other than that, my chart's pretty scattery and I don't know what dominance I'd have.

What do you mean, Kay Lynn?

@ Amane - I don't know, every time I hear 'Fire Rat' I imagine a rat on fire XD

I've never heard of the triangle thing before. All I know is most of my horoscope signs across the Chinese, Egyptian and Western Signs are fire signs. So I've never really looked into it too deeply

I imagine a dangerous-looking flaming rat.

I didn't know there was an Egyptian zodiac until I read replies in this thread.

@ Amane - I didn't hear about the Egyptian zodiac until recently either. I didn't even know it was a thing either way, it's kind of interesting

I can't complain, though. The Rat was the very first zodiac in the calendar, and they are supposed to be really cunning *kekeke* Though I've always thought it would be pretty awesome to be born on the year of the fire dragon. That sounds so badass

My brother is a fire dragon! We are ~12 years apart, so I am also a dragon, but with wood as my element instead of fire. Fire dragons are also called "Dragon ascending to heaven" and wood dragons are "yielding dragon."

As if being born in the Year of the Dragon isn't awesome enough, y'know!

I have seen someone wonder if prematurity affects someone's astrology at all.

It's a good question. I have a friend who was born premature, and she's always done her chart based on her birth date rather than when she was due. It's always seemed to fit her well.

Are due dates that spot on? 'Cause even if that is in fact true, it's likely you'd have to do a lot of guessing before you found your intended birth time. And then we can go still further and say being born premature was all part of the stars' plan.

Right, even if your due date ended up being correct, you wouldn't know your birth time until it happened.
