Hm, I reckon you could. I do know that if you go with fractions or decimals, it might take a little extra work. But I don't see why not.

-57 would be 18.
18 is 9.
9 is 4.

So, yeah... It can be done with negative numbers.

It even works with algebra problems!

-6+x/4 = 24

24 = 10

10 = 3

3 = 5

5 = 4

I cannot figure this out X.x

It's like the best math trick ever!
