We had a few tornado warnings today while I was at work...fun day. So far nothing serious, but the weather website is staying up in the bg tonight.

We had tornado touchdowns pretty close to where I live last month. The sky turned the prettiest shade of turquoise. Luckily they didn't come close to home or work. Just stayed North of us.

Well that's scary. I hope you're safe tonight. Do tornadoes happen often where you live?

I'm somewhat fascinated by tornados....but I wouldn't want to have one visit me!
Colorado has already had a fair share of tornados and warnings....luckily I live in the mountains!
I hope ya stay safe and the weather calms!

We've had one tornado go over us then touch down real close about fifteen minutes away this year. They always seem to go around us, but being in tornado alley I'm not scared of them too much anymore. Sirens go off or weather gets funky we just go downstairs.

There was one that touched down about 10 mins away from my DM's house. Other than that everyone I know was safe. Some how they always seem to fall just outside the city. Thank goodness.

Living in California, I've never experienced anything like a tornado warning before!
Earthquake drills, yes, but no tornados.
Gosh when I was little, I used to wish for tornado warnings;
I kind of viewed it as a "snow day" of sorts,
but now that I'm older I realize the actual meaning of oh my god, a tornado warning! :'-)

I got to see a tornado pretty up close once and it was scary. It was less than a mile away and it tore everything up around it. Everyone was really scared.

They had tornado activity in south east Denver on Wednesday....
Folks said they could see stuff flying past their house...and a fitness center had a close call....
They said that the twister was right outside the building...and as everyone attempted to stay safe, the tornado just dissipated.
One person commented that he had parts of his neighbors' homes in his front yard!
The weather has been crazy this year!, already!
I live in the mountains, not far from where they had horrible wildfires a couple years back...but this year we have been plagued by flooding caused by nearly daily rainstorms!

I live in Istanbul. Tornadoes happen here, but only once in a blue moon, and nowhere near the duration and magnitude of those in the USA. Still, people here tend to wet themselves when it does happen, because it's so unusual.

In my part of Canada we have small ones in June/July. Nothing like some of the huge ones in the US. We also nearly get flooded every year. XD But we're all used to it.
