This reminds me though we live in a safe neighborhood that the Halloween spirit around here has greatly faded since my childhood. Fewer houses participate and those that do don't really put much into it, there are fewer trick-or-treaters and several years ago I noticed that one of the best houses in my area stopped their theatrics. It's quite sad.
My family however has an awesome get-up planned, we're gonna do some kind of projection in front of our porch to give our house fangs and make a graveyard of our lawn. Plus we have two dogs who bark like they're blood thirsty when the door is knocked on...though their asses are going out in the backyard during Trick-Or-Treating.
