What is on your bed?

What is on your bed?
How many pillows do you have?
Do you have any blankets, quilts, or comforters?
Perhaps you sleep with a stuffed animal (or two or three)?
What else do you keep on your bed?

My hubby. *eyebrow waggle*

Two blankets, one comforter, and a fort worth of pillows. The stuffed animals are on the floor or in bins. And the cat and occasionally cat toys.

Me, one pillow, and a duvet. I don't like a crowded bed.

I've got one sheet, an Alice in Wonderland duvet, an Alice in Wonderland throw blanket and a couple of pillows.

We have a big king sized bed from Ikea. Though my husband and I sleep with seperate blankets.

I have two pillows, and I think he has two as well? There are also a pile of alpaca plushies between both of us and I've been sleeping with a large one lately. :p

I have three pillows. One is a body size pillow. I just have one big comforter. I sleep with one teddy bear named Mr. Mister. Then on the bottom of my bedside are my other two bears called Peru and Kimmy. I have a rechargeable bottled water for cramps and the likes and my 3ds sometimes.

Five or six pillows, though I only use one and my husband uses one. But we will use more than one when watching tv.
Two blankets because we use separate blankets (no more blanket hog!). And usually 2 loose sheets to cover up with if the blankets are too hot.

My bed has become very grown-up lately. [:o] I have a queen size bed, on which I have: a duvet and two matching sham pillows, a thermal blanket underneath that I take off in the summer, top and bottom sheets with two matching pillows, a box-spring under the mattress, and a bed-skirt to hide the metal frame. I used to keep a number of stuffed animals on my bed but now they've all been moved off to a chair.

I make my bed the way I was taught at my house keeping job. I put the top sheet on with the wrong side facing up, and then fold it down over the top of the blankets. That makes a nice decorative edge along the top of the bed, and makes things very inviting when I pull back the covers to get into bed at night. [yes]

Making my bed every day is one of the few chores I've always done without any nagging. I lay pretty still when I sleep so my blankets also stay pretty neat. Also I like the feeling of being firmly tucked in. I used to always have my bed in the corner of my room, and would tuck my sheets and blankets in tight along the wall. Then I would sleep on my side with my back to the wall, which felt very safe. These days, my bed is much bigger and free standing, and I sleep in more positions.

I have a body pillow, which my cat stole, 4 blankets, 2 to sleep on as I don't have a real bed with sheets, instead I have a sort of foldable couch thing which I have folded as a couch on one side and as a bed on the other where my cat sleeps. I then use 1 pillow and 2 down blankets to keep me warm through the night. In the summer I usually reduce that to just 1 down blanket.

On my bed, it is a mess right now but currently I have two comforters and two blanket throws. I have 8 pillows because all of mine are flat. The more pillows the better though. I use to sleep with a stuffed animal but now I have a dog that is actually cuddled up against my back and my boyfriend. Currently my pet rats are free roaming on the bed too. Now I always have the tv remote on the bed. Thank God for the locate remote button on my receiver box or I would always be needing a new remote.

Me at the moment

salvete 04-25-2016 02:28 PM

My bed is a mess at the moment. A mess of bed-related things at least. I have two pillows, a bedrest, a bed liner thingamajig, a comforter / duvet, a blanket, and a quilt. Oh, and two plushies too.

Wow salvete... preparing for winter?

salvete 04-26-2016 06:56 AM

Haha the wandering post more like leftover from winter. But I am also on my bed right now and using the comforter still because it is still not warm enough not to have it. The other night I tried sleeping without it and ended up sick so I have it on now. Also the blanket is nice for hugging purposes.

The Wandering Poet 04-26-2016 04:12 PM

Oh wow you got sicks without it? That's why I have down blankets. Just 2 of them keep me warm in winter and 1 is perfect for summer ^^

salvete 04-28-2016 10:09 PM

By sick I mean I was sneezing and had a runny nose. I thought it was allergies at first

UnmaskedHearts 04-28-2016 10:51 PM

Hmm... I have my sheets (pulled away from the mattress for some reason), one pillow, and my blanket. It's all kinda haphazard and messy [sweat]

My husband and I are on my bed :D we also have ... 6? pillows, and currently i believe there are 4 blankets and a bean bag as well. and of course my keyboard since i'm typing this. Winnie the Pooh was also left in here by our daughters earlier when we were watching tv. But if I had more space... and my stuffed animals hadn't been stolen by toddlers who think they deserve them more. psssh. My bed would also be covered with cuddly creatures to cuddle and sleep with.

lunanuova 04-30-2016 10:08 AM

Me! Because I'm sat on it.

jupiter 04-30-2016 07:29 PM

I have...gray sheets, with...//counts her pillows by pointing Eight pillows. Two are small throw-like pillows that I keep more for utility, like propping up a foot, computer, or tucking behind my head for an odd angle. The comforter that I use is very thick, and covered with a yellow cover--some pillows match. There's a purple comforter that I will sometimes tuck under the yellow one, and from the ceiling there are twinkling lights, and false wisteria with ivy, and yellow paper lanterns.

That's my bed.

Non-sleeping essentials typically include a pair of glasses, a book (today it's Understanding Insurance Law by Robert H. Jerry, II), and headphones.

your bed sounds super lovely. mine just has hapharzadly thrown on pillows and blankets that get rearranged whenever i decide to lay ina differnt position cause i move around alot cause i can't sit still.

jupiter 05-01-2016 09:51 AM

It really is quite lovely--not to sound too confident about it. But the bed is a nice haven, and I wanted to make it very comforting for me. For a little while there, it was starting to look like Howl's room from Howl's Moving Castle; so many trinkets and things hanging from the ceiling. I have a couple posters (Japanese and Korean prints) to stare at when I'm not falling asleep so quickly.

Inspiration 05-01-2016 09:13 PM

speaking of howl's moving castle... My toddlers and i are currently sitting on my bed watching spirited away. xD

Dei Dei Chan 05-04-2016 12:07 PM

I have my bedding and three owl themed cushions. My stuffed toys are kept on a dresser, or on the floor by my bed.
