Hahaha, thanks guys.
I'm always told things like that since I look so young. I'm actually 19 years old. Everyone my age looks WAY older than me.

Lol I WAS going too say you look way younger, but then I decided against it xD
Especially because I hate it when people say I look younger than 15 because I'm short n_________n;

EDIT:
Jelly, if you live in the UK, would i be overly presumptious by assuming you have an english accent too?

Loll not presumptuous xD I do sound English as well as live here xD

Suona 09-17-2010 03:40 AM

My mom works with an East Indian woman that use to live in England, and she has a major English accent. It confuses me slightly everytime I talk to her. Haha. Just not something you'd expect to come out of her mouth. She's such a nice person, too. I think its cool that she's got the accent.

jellysundae 09-17-2010 03:44 AM

It is initially confusing when someone who doesn't look English sounds it xD Though there will be millions of Brits who's heritage is Indian and Pakistani, but they're 3rd generation Brits and have broad accents from the city where they live.

Drop Bear 09-17-2010 08:40 AM

Yes, hence why i asked. I thought you may have moved there from elsewhere, and hence, had a different accent is all.

My aunt (married into the family) is asian. she grew up a lot in britain though and has a strong english accent, and then moved to Aussie here where i am where she met my uncle. First time meeting her i nearly tripped balls at her accent catching me off guard to what i was expecting. It still amuses me now though when she says or mentions a particularly english phrase or term lol!

Shes a top chick though, great lady and glad to have her as part of our family lol!

jellysundae 09-17-2010 09:13 AM

I find myself laughing over some of the phrases that Inso uses because they're so English

Vexatious~Venom 09-17-2010 04:56 PM

It's actually suprised me at how quite a few people on the internet, who're not even from Scotland, come out with stuff that is really commonly said over here. I don't speak like I normally would though, because online, half of the people wouldn't understand what I was on about

I think my favourite 'UK' type word is 'Bollocks!' lol! I use that a reasonable amount. Most people seem to think its 'bullocks' though, but thats the teams of bulls that pulled the logs in the old days!

Vexatious, i think i know what you mean. I read a novel which was set in scotland and all the dialogue had the phrases that are commonly used and such and the only thing that saved me was some contextual logic and reasoning and knowing a friend of the family who is scottish and remembering a few things she had said that i remembered so i knew what certain words meant lol!

A more recent picture, took it yesterday.

I say bloody hell a lot, if that counts. lol
Say bollocks from time to time, but not that often.

Yeah, I mean if I started rambling on about Gudgie or a Manishee no-one would have the foggiest what I was on about.

"I seen that Jakey Stewart deekeen at ma manishee fanny, so ah took him outside an' pure bursht him like"

^ That is the way that people speak where I live ;)

Also: I say bollocks all the the time xD

And just to keep this relevent:

Not including PC and handheld games, I have 89! And I have 8 more on the way!

I think I'm a bit obsessed. xD

Suona 09-18-2010 07:09 PM

lol You should see how many movies we have, then.

Pkero 09-18-2010 10:09 PM

This sounds like this is going to become some sort of epic battle for media supremacy, Suona. O:

Suona 09-18-2010 11:26 PM

From my count of the ones that I found in the living room, we have 258 movies. That is not including all the shows that we have, or the VHS'. lol

----------

Make that 261. Just realized my mom stuck some on the other shelf.

old photo but one of my favs

jellysundae 09-19-2010 04:07 AM

I would definitely lose with regard to amounts of games xD

I recently taught Yan to say "bollocks" He likes to demand a new English word from me regularly, though more often than not he picks them up through general conversation. I think the last one he learnt was "naff". That's a really useful word for those who haven't heard it, as it replaces the f word in pretty much any given situation without being anywhere near as potentionally offensive. Princess Anne is famous for telling papparazzi to "naff off" back in the 80s xD

Drop Bear 09-19-2010 04:21 AM

Oh jeeze, im not sure i know precisely how many movies and games i have? at a guess, id say 200-300 movies maybe, and since i only have PC games, maybe 20-30 that i can actually play, but if you include the old stuff, then maybe 40+?

Remrems 09-19-2010 03:52 PM

hi guys sup :3
