@ Kah - I'm anemic, too. I take iron pills from time to time, and its really helped. I use to be really bad. I couldn't even stand or move fast without getting dizzy and having my vision black out momentarilly. And I use to chew ice like crazy, but literally the day I started taking iron supplements, the cravings completely stopped and I have eaten ice since. And its been quite some time since that happened. Mind you I use to be a person that couldn't not be eating ice. Like I was known for being the chick who was constantly eating ice.

Today's I've been feeling like that! Ya know, that if I move too fast I get dizzy. I thought it was more because it was a Monday and it feels like too early in the morning the whole day anyways xD;; I'll see when I can visit the doctor sometime. Next week is exam week and I can't let my mind get as slow as it was today. I couldn't process most of the homework I copied!

And yeah Usuke, I shouldn't be chewing ice, but it tastes so delicious... unlike water ;__;

Another problem with the iron deficiency is that it makes you really rather groggy. It comes with a lot of symptoms, actually. If you go here it tells you a lot about it and what not.

I remember my mouth use to water when I was going to eat ice. >< Now I can't even imagine chewing on ice anymore.

They have TV with cable. I was watching Discovery Science when I decided to cover myself with their bedspread, and then I remember no more of the next 2 hours... :XD It's so easy to fall sleep there in comparison to my bed. I think it's the TV. Or maybe because their room is one stairway away from the lunch, unlike my room which is two staircases away, and when you have a full stomach the last thing you would want to do afterwards is go upstairs

 Ohh.. :XD
And I could understand not wanting to go up stairs after a meal. :XD
That's why when I eat a lot, and my tummy is too full, I just laze around on my living room couch or something with my pants unzipped for comfort
Much better than having to move around at all 8D

A picture of my new turquoise shirt. I looooove the design except for these damned sleeves and the fact that it keeps unbuttoning itself every 5 minutes >.<

Last friday I was soooo disappointed with my calculus quiz (I couldn't do a single exercise despite me noticing they weren't that hard to begin with) that I just went home, had lunch, and slept in my parents' bed. And then when they kicked me from it, I went to the room besides theirs and slept in my sister's bed until saturday's late morning :| I've had no sleeping pattern lately, it's just the opportunity where I can fall asleep and I do... u_ú

Because everyone's beds are in the second floor except mine, which is in the third. An extra staircase makes the difference :P

Aparently the holes are a liiiitle too big for the buttons, so it keeps unbottoning itself on my boobs >__> Yesterday I was at this grocery store and I spent the whole time buttoning the first 3 buttons >.< I got so fed up I decided to button my vest... and then I noticed my vest lacked the second button, right where my boobs are... it's a hard life T___T

Its actually what I did, it's a large :| And it doesn't hold them tight at all, but it just manages to unbutton itself so easily it's incredible >:\ I'd be a medium if it weren't for them non-ecuadorian standard boobs of mine xP

Suona: Ho sheeeeeet I have so many of these symptoms I thought I had more problems other than iron-deficiency. Never imagined it would be this problematic @[email protected] Hair loss, tinnitus, restless legs, dysphagia, muscle twitching, among others... hell, even angular cheilitis, and I didn't know that existed and had a name! Definitely going to harrass a doctor with my presence sometime soon... :XD

Haha. Well, glad to have helped.

And yes, I have realized so many things I get are from that, too. My friends always made fun of me for having a yellow tent to my skin, but at least now I know its for a reason. And I get RLS (restless leg syndrome) all the time. I hate it. Its so uncomfortable. I use to get it way more often, though, before I started taking my iron supplements.

The only reason we found out I was anemic is because I was blacking out while trying to take a shower and couldn't even hardly think or see straight. And i'd been having horrendous cramps. I was scared as all hell. Called my mom bawling. Got a doctor's appointment for that day and they tested my blood and said I was very anemic and to start taking iron. It wasn't helping much for awhile. I still was dizzy all the time, so I started taking 2 a day. That helped a little, but it got to wear I needed to take one in the morning and one at night, so that it'd last longer. But I usually forget to take it now, and i'm still doing pretty good. I think once you can get it better under control, then it stays decently level unless you dont eat enough iron-rich foods.

I'm also yellowish. Makes it soooo hard to find suitable make-up >:\ And I agree the RLS being so uncomfortable. Its as unconfortable as the time I told my mother why I was moving my legs so much and explained it as a hollow leg with a rubber string pulling it from the inside stronger the more I keep still. She told me not to tell this to anyone else or people would think I'm crazy

Thing is, I'm the only one in this house who has this problem. The only one who sleeps this much and has a yellow skin, even though I eat the same (and more! hurhurhur~) than everyone xP And we eat relatively healthy. Everyday a salad for lunch and fruit for dinner, but I'm the only one who is anemic... not even my sis who doesn't like fruit :|

Haha. Yeah, its a really hard thing to describe to people. Its such an odd and uncomfortable sensation. And you're right, if you stay still, it just gets worse and makes your legs jerk. Ugh. I hate it. I use to get it during class a lot, and would have to just move my legs up and down constantly until it wore off.

I know what you mean! I'm the only one in my family that has anything wrong with them, really, and I have so many weird things wrong with me. D: My mom gets RLS from time to time, but thats about it. And I eat plenty of iron stuff, usually. Its in so many things. But no, still anemic. I dont know what starts it, because i've never gone very long without eating iron-rich foods.

Ill take that one as a compliment Usuke, since thats what i was trying to go for. Ill be trying something similar tomorrow night if i can manage it.

Draic, dun steal mah pointehs! Actually, ive got some sort of sword or knife in every room of my house bar the bathroom i think, and thats only because all the moisture in there would cause them to rust and such, which i dont want to happen.

Kah, where that sword is sitting has a window behind it and that is my front door. So anyone comming up the steps can see le sword as they approach. I keep others that are less ornamental in more easily reachable spots!
As for the skulls and hawks, there are... seven in that room alone, and the hawk was tied back as i seem to be doing more often with it of late since its getting so damned long!

At the moment im trying to make one side of the hawk white, and the other side black, instead of the crossways black and white stripes.
