My grandpa is one of those old school republicans. If I ever said I wasn't for the party he'd seriously disown me. Like one time he went on a rant when my girlfriend at the time was over my house because she had an Obama sticker on her car and it made him mad. It's kinda ridiculous.

I'm just sick of politics in general.

Anyway, it's interesting to hear that England is sick of their version of the Republican party as well. Sounds like the whole world is sick of stuffy old rich farts.
I thought it was common knowledge?
TBH no one wants the labours in either because they were the ones that got the country in debt, therewere a lot more liberal democrats last time.

And the racist party, i forgot what they were called are getting increasingly more popular, but only because britian is fed up with the amount of illegal immigrants on benifits >.<

its about time i gave you all a picture. :p

Morning Wendy, very sleepy looking even though i got up really late, 11:25!! i can't believe i was asleep for so long!!

You're welcome. :)
Oh I see, sounds great.
I haven't dyed my hair in a while. I might get some red highlights again or just completely dye it red.

Cass seems bored. Haha. <3

I don't know how big this picture will be, but that's the length of my hair currently.
Buut, I'd like to know if I'd look good with fully dyed red hair or just stick with red highlights?

Rozalyne: I think you would suit a vivid red all over :D But wouldn't you ahve to bleach your hair first as its dark?

Hmm, I'm not sure. o.o
I'd have to ask the lady who cuts my hair. She'll tell me if I have to or not.
But, if I have to bleach I won't dye it all and just stick with highlights. xD

seriously, you will have to your hair is almost black, it'll barely change colour. :3
wont it be really tricky to do highlights? because you'll ahve to bleach strips of your hair and make sure you turn the same pieces red? IDK I never highlight my hair.

But if you get a hairdresser to do it for you thats a lot easier.

Nope.
I'v had red hightlights before without bleaching. :) And it was a very vibrant red. *Nod nod*
I wish I had a good picture of it though.
The lady who does my hair is AMAZING. I have yet to be disappointed when I go to her.
She's the only person I trust my hair to.

Nope, I shouldn't have to, but who knows.
Dying and highlights are different.
Oh that must be exciting. ^^

I would have thought you'd have to bleach your hair too. o.o That's crazy. My hair's about the same colour and I need to bleach if I'm going a lighter/vibrant colour.

No bleach and the color stays for quite a while.
Although, the last time I got my highlights the red eventually faded into a copper tone. @[email protected]
So since then I didn't dye my hair until it all faded out completely.

I have very dark brown hair as well and have had vibrant violet red highlights without bleaching.

I'm not entirely sure why it works that way, but it does. o.O

@Keo: I don't keep up on world politics much (read: American ), so anything about England is news to me.

But, yeah. There are tons of people here in the U.S. (especially in the south) that are sick of immigrants getting so many benefits, as well. Where are the immigrants coming from in the UK? Here it's the Mexicans.

I was never told I needed to bleach my hair because it was too dark. I think bleaching is reserved for other types of dyes.

I'm Hispanic, but I do get where people are coming from.
But Americans have their benefits as well, but rarely do they ever use them.
Immigrants take advantage of them, while some Americans take them for granted.
Not all Mexicans are like that though, but that's stereotype for ya. Lol.

That reminds me...with all the people who do crazy things to their hair here. Question time! Anyone have advice for putting a platinum blonde streak into dark brown hair at home?

I actually don't have anything against Mexicans. It's just the south is very prejudiced against anything other than white and I hear about it all the time. I don't like it when Mexicans illegally immigrate to the U.S., but I don't like it when anyone illegally immigrates here. Do it the right way unless you're running from war or something is all I'm saying. If the job situation weren't so bad in the U.S. I don't think I'd even care about that.

I think for platinum, you might have to bleach.
Buut, I'm no pro at hair, so I'm not sure.
Are you going for a "Rogue" look? o:

I agree.
I mean, my dad did come here illegally a long time ago..., but he did go through getting his residency. And he works and provides for his family.
What I do hate is when they try bringing their whole family here illegally.
It also just bothers me that some illegal immigrants don't do anything to try to become a citizen or at least get residency.

Yeah, I figure I'm going to have to bleach it, but I'm interested in the how and what product(s). I know I'll have to separate it out using foil, but I'm a total noob to hair products other than shampoo (etc.)

And actually that's not a bad way to describe it, but I don't want it to be quite that wild.

While I hate to use Miley Cyrus as an example, this is pretty close to what I want except with a slightly larger streak:

As for the immigration convo, you took the words right out of my mouth. At least try to become legal and be a contributing member to society.

Keo
Oh! I see now.
That would look really cute! Not sure how to go about it at home though.
If you have a store called Sally's you could ask for their opinion, but don't buy from there.
They're kind of expensive. x.x

I love that hair style! o:

Thanks, Roz. It's a bit long for my liking and a bit too girly but I promised my mom I wouldn't cut it until after my cousin's wedding next week. I normally have really short hair and mohawk it. I miss it so much.

Will there be an update picture for when you cut it? o:
