I miss shopping online. I don't have a bank account any more or credit cards so I rarely shop online any more.

I have trouble even with small sizes and few places carry extra small. Boys clothing a lot of times, well, looks like little boys clothing and I don't want to look like a 12 year old boy.

The Wandering Poet 08-21-2013 12:00 AM

Have you tried using paypal? :)

Ah mystic must be very small then... hm... do kids not have plain colored shirts?

Mystic 08-21-2013 12:02 AM

I thought with pay pal you had to have a bank account?

They do but the button ups and things like that still have that little boy look for the most part. I'm 5'7 and 110lbs so I'm pretty tiny. Plus I have hips and that does not help any.

The Wandering Poet 08-21-2013 12:08 AM

You don't HAVE to but it's recommended. It mainly just makes it difficult to transfer money. But it definitely possible though I connected my bank personally

Wouldn't hips just help them not fall down?

Mystic 08-21-2013 12:21 AM

Yeah, they help with that but the sizing is weird for me to wear as far as men's pants go. I have to go a size up because of my booty. XD Like they'll be to long but fit at the hips.

Flowery Pit 08-21-2013 12:30 AM

I can understand with the XS thing. Sometimes I even have to be an XXS which is just freakin' weird they can get that small.

It depends on your style of what you're looking for. I actually bought a little boy's shirt that was XL. It was one of those checkered collared shirts because I find women's collared shirts are too feminine. I just wanted basics.

Recently, I went into the little girls section and got two plain colored t-shirts in Larges. It's very awkward to be in there with little girls and their mommies there.

"Oh hey don't mind me, I'm just shopping here because nothing fits me [cry]"

The Wandering Poet 08-21-2013 12:42 AM

Ah, that happens to me a bit too... I just let the pants bunch up XD

Drop Bear 08-23-2013 01:06 AM

Hahaha, i never thought small sized people had those problems! Us big sized people always have trouble finding stuff to fit, though admittedly im not TOO big in the sense that nothing fits and i have to special order things. My main problem is pants, because ive got rather large thighs, so finding something that fits properly over my thighs is pretty damned hard. You midget-y type people can at least cut stuff down to fit, but you cant make stuff larger than it is quite so easily...

JChanOfTheCan 08-23-2013 09:19 AM

feel your pain man. my legs are ridiculously long, so it takes me years to find pants that fit me and that id actually be caught dead wearing.[rofl] shoes i usually have to end up ordering cause not many stores have my bigfoot size. xD

Drop Bear 08-24-2013 03:14 AM

Shoes are TOO bad for me, but ive got a mate who has US size 19 feet.

My old man has 13's, and he came home after work the first time he was over and I heard him at the back door say, "HOLY SH!T Who owns these bloody ski's?"

JChanOfTheCan 08-24-2013 09:48 AM

[rofl] hahaha xD

I got a new tattoo!

It says 'BETTER DEAD THAN RED' on the banner. Sorry for upside-down, full spread image here. The robot is Liberty Prime from Fallout 3.

jellysundae 08-26-2013 02:16 PM

Memories of Jeremy's complaints about the new pants that he got last winter xD [ninja]

That's a cool-looking tat, Pkero! Looks nicely done.

RoadToGallifrey 08-26-2013 08:55 PM

I love your new tat! :') I'm planning getting my new ones next month when I get my student loan money ha.

McNugget 08-26-2013 09:06 PM

That tattoo looks awesome!!

The Wandering Poet 08-26-2013 09:21 PM

What are you getting this time Vin? :O

Pkero 08-26-2013 10:47 PM

Thanks all! I'd love to get more but they get so expensive when they get this big... I'd prefer to eat throughout the school year. xD

nemo.love_22 08-27-2013 06:01 AM

Look who I got to take a picture with on Saturday night!! Yes, that's MARLEE MATLIN!!!!!!! Still kinda on a high from it, honestly. And it's days later. [rofl] [squee]

Congrats Nemo! [:D] I've only seen her acting in a few things, but I remember watching an interview or two with her and her personality's pretty great. [yes]

Yeah, she's a fantastic actor, person and all that!! I totally had this whole thing planned out of what I wanted to say, etc... but when I saw her standing there, I totally started freaking out. [XD] Like hands shaking freaking out and that's not good when your hands is what you need to communicate. [lol] She does have a great personality - and that actually is the same for most deaf that I've noticed. :] She's so pretty too. ^_^ I did get to wish her a happy birthday in person, I was thinking clear enough that I thought to do that - her birthday was on the night of the movie premier that I met her at. :]

I'm getting portraits of Jack and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas done on my thighs along with the lyrics "we can live like Jack and Sally if we want" from I Miss You :)

The Wandering Poet 08-27-2013 10:01 PM

Ooh :) Sounds good

Heyyy, Nightmare Before Christmas AND Blink. I can get behind that. Who you getting it from?

RoadToGallifrey 08-27-2013 11:56 PM

@Poet: Thanks :)

@Pkero: Glad you approve! :P I'm not sure yet. I'm moving to a new city next month so I'll check out the artists down there. If they aren't really up to scratch though I'll probably wait until I come home around Christmas time and go to the shop that I normally go to for piercings. They did my swan tattoo last year and it's my favourite so I know that the artists there are pretty decent. Only downside is the cost D;

Pkero 08-28-2013 04:20 AM

Ehh, you get what you pay for, usually. I'd rather pay an obscene amount for something that's done really well than pay peanuts to have something I'd want lasered off or covered up. :P
