Probably the dumbest picture I've taken in my life out of sheer boredom. xD; And to answer your piercing question; my septum piercing is the least painful piercing I've ever had done. I've had both nostrils pierced, 3 per ear lobe and one on each upper cartilage of my ears. The cartilage and nostril piercings were by far much, much worse than my septum piercing. Sounds a little gross, but if you reach into your nose and pinch your septum you'll feel a soft spot referred to as the "sweet spot". It's that squishy part in front of the cartilage of your nose. They pierce that soft spot, so it's no worse than an earlobe piercing. Surprisingly, it healed rather quickly, too. It's my favorite piercing hands down. Easy to maintain and fun to accessorize. I've always wanted a mustache shaped jewelry for sprinkles and giggles. [:B] |

Really?! It doesn't look that way. It looks so painful but I can see how the squishy part wouldn't be so bad. I've only had my lobes (two in both) and my cartridge done once (in a crap shop so I'm hoping to get it done again -- in a parlor this time.) Ohh, that mustache jewelry would be so cute!! I used to have long hair but got 15 inches cut off. Might as well share that! For pictures. |
Oh my goodness! You're adorable! x3 WOW! That's a lot of hair cut off. You must have felt way lighter; I know I did when I cut my hair and it wasn't nearly as much as you had!

Those pictures were from... 8 months ago? I think. Maybe. Anyway, I had more hair cut off since it grew out and I didn't want it on my neck. So I got it even shorter and I love it. ^^ It feels a lot lighter and doesn't get in the way now, but I plan on growing it out again to donate to another charity. |

I think maybe as long as it's natural colors, you can donate it. I had mine dyed. It was looking awful because the natural was growing back in (my hair is naturally brown with an auburn tint to it and I dyed it darker; see the photo below lol.) Children with Hair Loss accepts dyed hair, or they accepted mine and all my friends who dyed theirs.

@Sam - I don't think you disappointed by not having jet black hair and piercings. You just ending up looking different to Lexa's mental image. [yes] When my hair's wet it just looks flat(ter) than normal >< Yours looks thick, so I expect that's why I thought it had "stuff" on it. Good for you with not caring what you look like in pics. But then you're not ugly so it's a moot point.

I can never take a nice picture too. I find that I can't smile, when I have a camera on. And I have the urge to do all the funny faces I can mange [lol] My dad says that not even thousand dollars will make me smile when I'm taken a picture XD |

I used to have a very set "camera face" when I was younger. Like a grimace xD I can make a normal face now, but I'm seriously unphotogenic so I rarely look good in photos. ><
I've posted ones in this thread where I don't look hideous, but for every one posted there's a good 25 that I'd rather die than share and get deleted immediately. [lol] |
