Well..My dad wanted somethine strong, and a powerful name..He was going to either name me Lena, Vicky, Yulia, or (as an english name) Samantha. I geuss my mom went with Vicky because she wanted to show my Japanese side a little bit too, so they crossed out the russian names, (Oh, I bet your confused, my dads Russian and my Mom is Japanese) and it was either Samantha or Vicky, I geuss Vicky sounded cooler to them. xD I'm glad they chose Vicky..Samantha is WAY too common, and Vicky is so unique. 8D Do you like your name? Well my name is April but I found out that my father wanted to name me Crystal. That would be bad...so very bad. It's not cause of the name but my last name. It would have been tragic.

My real name is Amy Li, my parents are from the mainland so it's spelled Li not Lee [This kind of is off topic but I know someone that would've been named Amy Lee if he was a girl]. It means "Beloved" in Latin. I'm ok with my name, except it gets annoying when I go to a big Chinese get together 'cause there'll be like, another 3 Amys =_= My parents chose my name to be Amy because it's really short and easy to say and not too common. And my parents wanted my name to be easy to say for my relatives in China, so they can somewhat say it correctly, because they can't say my sister's name [Elizabeth] correctly. Also, I think it's also because they don't want my relatives to be calling me by my Chinese name because my Chinese name [李敖] is also the same as some person and Taiwan, and my mom doesn't like that person or something.
