I was named after my great grandmother. She was Flora Amanda yadda yadda. I just know my name was in there somewhere. XD Heres something I looked up on my name: "Meaning: She who must be loved Origin: Latin Additional Info:A name created from the Latin gerundive of the verb 'amo' (I love)." Here Also got: "Created in the 17th century by the playwright Colley Cibber, who based it on Latin amanda meaning "lovable"." Here Oo I'm lovable! Looove love love! |
My real name's Fernalia. I don't think it really means anything XD; My parents named me after the first two visitors that visited my mom in the hospital after she gave birth to me. They were sisters by the name of Ferzana and Alia :3

Legion, for we are many. *loom!*
Ok, seriously now, my name isn't even Christian. I was named after an ancient prophet who always saw true, but was never believed. They even (according to some legends) saw their own death and the end of their people, but were unable to prevent it. Despite the sheer angst of the story behind it, I like my name. |
My real name is Kat, or Kathryn. It's something greekish for 'purity'

|
my name is Michelle (Hebrew) for "who is like God?"

That and well the first thing I was going to say was that I've came across several Daniels in my life. Just classmates primarily. But then that somehow came into my head. Even though I've hardly read the bible. |
Andrea :o
As far as I know, it's just a name. XD |
My name is Jacqueline, which apparantly means "supplanter" in French and Hebrew. My nickname is Jac, a variant of the masculine "Jack" which means "God is gracious" and originates from Hebrew.
Hmm. It used to be a nickname for "John." Interesting. Very interesting, to me. |

My real name is Morgan. I was named after Morgan La(Le?) Fae (Faye? Fay?) from the King Arthur stuff.
|
My name is Janelle. It was this really unique name as I was growing up, and my mom thought of the name from a combination of my grandmother and great grandmothers names: Jean and Ella. Everyone's name in my entire family begins with a J, so it was natural for her to do that. Well now theres younger people with my name and I don't feel special anymore T_T

Michelle.
I'm pretty sure it means, "Who is like God", and I know it's the female version of Michael. Which is my younger brothers name. I almost got named Christy, but on the way to the hospital...my Dad heard Michelle by the Beatles. Good save Dad. |
