Exactly...the nice part is that if you are at a nice place people won't really care if you aren't "The best". So there is no point in not enjoying yourself.

I know one guy who really sucks, but he has so much fun nobody cares at all!

i really like karaoke but i haven't don't it in a long time. the last time i went it was at a sports tournament and all the teams would just go in groups to sing. which was really funny cause while the groups were singing everyone on the basketball courts could hear them and most of the time would end up having laughing fits on the court.

i like singing older songs that are in moves ^^

YESH!!! I love Karaoke!! hahaha I karaoke with my friends hehehe coz... it's not like they¿'ll have japanese songs.. in a regular karaoke x___X or they just have anime songs

LOL i am too timid but i have gone with my friend's friends it was hilarious we aren't the usual crown you would see in the bar we went too. It was like the ran down kind with like country drunk i've-been-to-jail looking people XD. We are younger rockers but my his friends got up and sang back street boys to him

I have never been to a private room karaoke. I have always wanted to though, they look like so much fun.

It's easy to go crazy in private rooms XP
you can dance
you can play around with friends
and you can just sing however you want with songs XP
Since i can't really sing
i find it more fun to play with songs XP
or try out guy songs which are just so not for a female voice XP
the effect is very funny XP

My friends and I go out to the karaoke places in the city because there isn't any good ones in our area. We go to those places where you rent out your own room for an hour or so. We don't do the singing in front of strangers thing because it's just embarrassing and we don't want to hang out with them, haha.

We have so much fun singing with insane voices. Good times~

I like to sing in private, but I'd be WAAAAY too embarrassed to do karaoke.

It isn't so bad once you get used to it. ^_^

I dislike karaoke with extreme prejudice.

I don't sing karaoke myself because I don't really like singing in front of people. However, I do enjoy watching other people do karaoke. ^^

Eh, I dunno. My fiance insists that he likes my singing, but that doesn't mean I'm actually any good at it. And I hate making an ass out of myself in front of people. Or, you know, in general. <.<;

I guess it was so weird for me (and the friend of mine that tagged along) to be in that sort of situation. Of course, once we were all drunk enough it didn't matter.

I go every Thursday (I can afford) with my darling friend Lenny. ^^ I'm a terrible singer so I make someone sing with me. I also need to knock back a few drinks to loosen me up. I'll only do shots before I'm doing karaoke.

Lol, nice. I stop singing if I get too intoxicated, cause I can tell that I start to do badly when I am drunk. :D

I have been known to do Madonna too...among other things.

I'm too shy about my voice to do Karaoke, though once when I was reeeaaaaallly drunk, some friends and I went to the Gay Bar because it was Karaoke night there, and with 2 other friends we did a horrible rendition of "Someone to love" by Queen.....

I haven't been to the one place that does it here in Vic yet.. it's called Sopranos! But I wanna have a song or two picked out and practiced at home before I take it to the bar... I know I have an alright voice, but I'm so shy about hitting stale notes in front of people. I'm really very critical of myself... I'm a shower singer for sure hehe


edit: When I was little my mom bought me my own Karaoke machine for xmas, and I used to sing along to the radio a lot... but mostly to the Lion King soundtrack.... it was rad!

Nice...I go to some of the gay bars around here sometimes, they are really fun. There is one night a week where the drinks are like supppper cheap and you can get a gin and tonic (my drink) for like 1$ and a Long Island for like 3$ it is crazy!

Yes! I sing Madonna as well. xD Sometimes some older Christina Aguilera. I love singing Genie in a Bottle because my friend Lenny will stand up on the little stage thing and do a strip tease. It's hilarious.
