I agree, ice cream cakes are where it's at.... gosh it's been so long since I've even had one just writing this is giving me a craving! Although there is something to be said for typical frosting cake combined with a scoop of ice cream.... but ice cream cake totally wins out.

I'm really, really bad at cooking though and I don't think I've ever even made a normal cake, so let's say beggars can't be choosers. I usually just happily eat whatever's around! Except orange... some people eat cake with like this orange batter, and I think it's gross.

My favorite is carrot cake. It's really moist and has yummy cream cheese frosting. Mmmmm mmmm!

I like ice cream cake too though. Sometimes there's too much ice cream and not enough cake though.

I love marble cake. And chocolate if it's done right.

I've never been a big cake person myself, unless it's lemon cake or white cake with lemon filling and/or frosting. I can't stand chocolate cake, and neither can my fiance. People always think we're weird because of it.

I generally tend to prefer pie -- cherry or lemon meringue are my favorites. ;3

Im not a big fan of baked goods in general. They tend to be too suggary sweet for my tastes. I dont really like cookies (except FORTUNE COOKIES!!! I bought a big box of them yesterday, and Im sitting her munching on them and giggling over the silly fortunes) or cake or ice cream (the only exceptions being cotton candy flavored, and mint chocolate chip flavored) or even chocolate (except when I'm on my rag. hehe, I AM a girl, afterall!)
yeah. thats just me though. I don't like rich tasting things... they make my boddy shudder....

Lemon Meringue is tied for my all time favorite pie with strawberry rhubarb!!!! both are amazingly yummy... I like them because they're sweet, but tart. so the tartness balances out the sweet!!!

I'm not a big fan of pie. I can stand pumpkin once a year. I don't like lemon. xD Apple is okay once in a while. I love raspberry/black raspberry mixed. ^^

Then you would LOVE these candies I found at the market the other day.... we have this grocery store chain here that is owned by japanese people and its a very western store, but they have one aisle dedicated completley to japanese cuisine. They have the BEST instant ramens ever(and cheap too!! 55 cents each!). But besides that hehe, I was looking for dried mango slices and instead I found this package that had like... a western style comic on the front and all it said was "SUPER LEMON" and then the speech bubble said "OH! powerful candy!"
so I bought them. And they are SUPER sour for the first 7 seconds, but then they calm down into this amazing sweet lemon candy. Awesome. Best $2 I've spent in a while! :D

I love cake, especially chocolate cake. I'm pretty good at making cake out of box mixes, and if I make it then it usually turns out better than if, say, my dad attempted to make it.

I really dont like many kinds of cake. I was at my friends birthday, and he had an oreo cookie cake. I tried to eat it, and almost spat it out. But I didn't want to be rude. I usually replace my birthday cake with a brownie cake or muffins or something. I just cant do cake!

I like cupcakes xD All the fun of cake, but portable :3

I had this one cake my mother made for my birthday once when I was young. I believe it was called Black Forrest Cherry. Yum...it was the best thing ever and I've been dying to have it again....probably been about 10 years lol XDDD

I also just like your average chocolate or vanilla cake. My favorite motto is "Never be afraid to go somewhere....there might be cake." :wink:

yeah. whenever i'm at a dinner party i don't really go straight to the cakes. I only like the juicy kinds (sponge cake), with fruits (mango cake) or mocha cake. yeah... i'm really picky with cakes lol XD. but i know what you mean with dry cakes, that's why i like sponge cake or cake that has fruits in them. dry cake feels like sand in your mouth sometimes and you get a craving of milk to swallow it down. ^_______^;

Some cakes are nice. Some not so nice. But I stuff my face anyway. I don't get cake very often so I'll eat it. Lol. But some cakes are to hard and crumbly. I like homemade ones best though. They taste just right.

I hate cream so I don't eat many cakes but I really love cheesecake and mud cakes they are so yummy and occasionally I will eat a little cream since most cakes seem to have it. But yeah generally I am limited to cheese, mud and marble cakes.

I love cake, but only badly made or store-bought cake tends to be dry and crumble too easily.

My famous chocolate hob cake is as moist as you could ask for! I make a blindingly good carrot-cake, too. The trick is to add extra carrot.
