Where is everybody?
We have over 7 thousand registered users, but the most users ever online is 186. Yes, I know with different timezones and all, people aren't all online at the same time, but really. I've been seeing the same threads in the GD for a couple days now.
Are they all bots, or mules, or do people just never go online? Discuss: How often do you sign onto Mene? Are there the same group of people online whenever you are? Are there really that many mules/bots or do people just sign up and never login? |
Well, it could be different timezones....
Or mule accounts. You never know which is a mule, and which is a main. Or maybe bots. Also, some users may have signed up, but never logged back in. There are lots of possibilities. I myself signed up just yesterday, so I don't really know the answer to the first two questions. However, I could tell you that I often keep seeing the same people in almost every thread. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this site seems somewhat new. |
It's that way with most sites. Some people log in and don't ever come back... I was that way with Mene until today, actually XD Plus, since Mene allows you to have a mule, you can say that mules account for a decent part of the member count.

I took a short time off of Mene for no reason at all.
People are allowed to have one mule, so that might be part of it. I've seen alot of bots over here in my time. And lots of people can lose interest. It's just how it goes I guess. |
Yeah, I guess. But here we're only allowed one mule, so it can't amount to that many users.
@Aine: Yeah, the site's only been around for about 6 months, as far as I know. @Mocha: Yeah, that's probably it. I know I got my friends to sign up, but they only logged on once, and then went back to Gaia. :roll: |
A lot of people seem to sign up then leave because they can't spam or they want to play more games.
A lot of people from Gaia especially think it's too hard to get gold. |
I joined yesterday, and I spend a lot of time on here now. I bet it's just a lot of people trying out the site to see if they like it, and then they never get back on. :?

If Mene had more features, more people would stay. Or if we had a more organised shop. & a storyline perhaps. I don't know, I like Menewsha, but sometimes I feel as if its a little bit unorganised.

I have school now, my summer end on May. And I have classes from Monday to Saturday thus Sunday is the only day I have to rest but I have homework so there really is any rest day for me. Dx
I alway try to get online at home but our internet connection is acting up again it goes on and off. (How annoying it is when it disconnects me in the middle of posting. D8< ) |

I sign into Menewsha almost everyday. Sometimes I'll miss a day though because of a connection breakdown or something like that xD Are there the same group of people online whenever you are? I think there's a lot of mules or people who signed up and never used their Menewsha account T-T. Plus, some people don't use theirs very frequently. And yes, usually the same people are online whenever I am...so I talk to the same people often. I guess there are either lots of mules, or people just aren't very interested in Menewsha. I mean, lots of members here came from Gaia and so they probably like spending most of their free time on Gaia instead of Mene. |

I'm hardly ever online because I'm always on gaia and I'm too lazy to be on two places at once! Also I suppose that most people here are from America and so the time when I'm usually online everyone else is fast asleep...

Also, I sign into Mene daily. n___n I love this site. <3 I think it's only better if it's small, more members only means more spam. And i'm sure no one would want that. I just wanna enjoy this before it turns into Gaia #2. I love Gaia, it's just not personal anymore. Everything has gotten way, way too inflated and there's so much spam that the forums aren't fun anymore. |
We have over 10 thousand registered users. But it's morning here in the US and most people our age are in school or at work and people sign in at different times. Plus it also depends on where the majority of the members live. ;] |
