I dye my hair every 5 months or so, yet strangely my hair is apparently still softer than most everyone else's. xD
I'm actually struggling between whether or not I want to continue growing mine out or cut it again, because recently I've been getting my hair cut pretty dang short (above shoulders), though I used to have hair halfway down my back. I love my hair short, and I sort of miss having long hair too, but it's a pain to grow. My hair grows really slow.
Annoying.

I've tried a lot of different colors on my hair, but have settled on a shade of red that's two shades darker than my natural color (for the moment, at least). I dye it once every few months, and it seems to hold the color really well.

The hairstyle I stick with is mostly one length (a little layering for more body), shoulder length, and parted slightly to the left. It's easy to fix and care for. I used to bounce between short and long styles, but this medium length cut is the one I like best so far. It doesn't take long at all for my hair to grow out- even if I cut it boy-short, it'll be back to my shoulders within six months.

Ever died your hair? If so, what color? - I've dyed my hair before. Many different colors. Purple, blue, pink, red, green, orange.. and lastly, brown. Haha.
How long does it take for hair to grow out? - It differs. For me it doesn't take that long. Though you do have to get a trim every now and then to get rid of the evil split ends. xP

lol. I have long thick and naturally curly brunette hair. I personally love straight hair better and normally fry my hair straightening it. hehe. Oops

I just spent 3 hours int he salon today having my friend do my hair. I pretty much told her to do what she wanted with it as long as it stayed natural colours because I can't have unnatural colours at work. I love the way she did it though. =) It's shoulder-legthed and choppy with a dark reddish brown base and blonde high lights.
Before that I had dark brown wiht red nad blode high lights, black and red before that, and I think I had a dark red base with purple high lights before that.

How long does it take for hair to grow out?
idk my hair is thick, but after the stylist did sumthin it looks thin.

I used to have long hair. Like, nearly to my ass, long hair and it was naturally black, perfectly straight and really silky. Well. That was awesome and all but it got boring so I started bleaching it and cutting it. That was about 4 or so years ago before I did anything to my hair.

At the moment, it's above my shoulders, completely bleached and dyed into a green with a tad bit of blue. Admittedly, I miss my hair being natural but it just wouldn't feel right if I went back lol

My hair has been every color of the rainbow besides a bright yellow and orange. I can't wait to get those colors.

My hair is extremely long, and now it's past my waist. I would like to get it cut because it would be a lot easier to handle, but I spent so long growing it out. Whenever I try to schedule a hair appointment or determine how short I want it cut, I chicken out and decide I want to keep it long. Plus I like having my friends play with my hair. You know, braid it and stuff. ^^
