I hate airplane trips! My biggst delema on a plane is I like sitting by the window but I have to go to the bathroom alot. And the people beside me always fall asleep @[email protected]
So do I. . .
a) sit by the isle and try too look out other people's windows
b) sit by the window and not drink anything for hours @[email protected]
c) sit by the window anf hold it in @[email protected]

I like flying be it a 45 minute flight over the mountains or an 8 1/2 hour flight from seattle to miami.

I *LOVE* flying.

i don't do much, just sit, think and stare.
music helps.
And a good book too.
Or chatting with whomever you sit with.

They are rather nice generally :)

as for airport security, trust me- the airport screeners HATE doing it.
BUt thy get paid a nice paycheck and amazing helth benefits.
I would know.
My dad is one.
And he thinks the way they go about majoirty of the stuff is bullshit.

I've only been on them for one trip, though, about three years ago.

We went to Taiwan, so we took a lot of trips from airport to airport.

First, we took a plane, thirty minutes, to Georgia to the airport. Then we went to LA for the plane that would take us to Taiwan. That took about four hours.

Then this uber-long trip to Taiwan, across the world~~

As for trip wise I potty before the trip and ask to sit next to the window...i sleep/read/draw <3 sometimes talk to fellow passengers

The longest plane ride I've been on was probably..13 hours.. D: It sucked. >.<; I hate planes a lot, 'cause all I can do it listen to music, read those old magazines, or sleep. xD :lol: Most of the time I just stare at the seat in front of me....BORING.. ;-;

Airport security drives me insane. I live in Las Vegas, and I know how the system works at our airport, so I never get stopped, but I had to fly out of the Cedar Rapids airport (which is positively tiny) and they took it upon themselves to stop me twice, making me get rid of a bunch of my stuff that was within the regulation 2 oz size, and they made me completely empty my bag in Hawaii... a mere 5 minutes after it cleared the first checkpoint. But, oh well. 'Least we're safe, or something like that.

Getting middle seat really doesn't bother me, that much. If it's a night flight, I use the tray table as a pillow and sleep leaned over it. If it's during the day, I usually have my iPod, DS, or a book to keep me occupied. I generally prefer the window seat, but the last time I had it, the guy next to me refused to let me get up to use the bathroom for over an hour. Just kept glaring at me for trying to ask him.

I hate airplanes. But I have to take them, because I usually go to China during the summer, and I live on the East Coast of the US. It's usually a thirteen hour ride, and it drives me insane.

I usually watch a couple movies, and then get bored and start listening to music. Then, I get bored of that, so I talk to my mom or brother for a while. I sometimes read, but that gives me a headache, and makes me feel sick. So basically, I just rotate through a bunch of different activities, while counting down the hours until I'm there.

I'm usually in business class because my mom has this stand-by thingy since she's a stewardess /flight attendant.



I usually bring my iPod,something to draw on/with,manga and maybe my game boy advance.

It's actually been a long time since I've been in economy class longer than 4 hours XD.
Once I even got a seat in first class together with my dad XDDD

I don't have any problems with long flights even in economy class though.

I hate it because my luggage got pummeled one day. Nobody pummels MY stuff.

I never went on an Airplane,so I dunno what i would do maybe Bring a PsP or something.Window seets are always good.

I usually bring my gameboy and play some pokemon on the plane rides. Or watch the movies that they show. They usually have the new releases that are playing, even though they will probably be PG or G rated. That can take up a good chunk of time though.

Some fun games I like to play are "Guess the time when you will pass over a city" and "If the plane were to crash, who would you have sex with before you died."

As for airport security, I believe that it is a necessary evil. Although sometimes it is a complete pain (For example, when I flew to Spain, some idiot ran through the security without being checked so they had to evacuate the entire terminal, delaying everything three hours.), it has to be done.

i HATE sitting in the middle!! i was on a flight over seas and i was stuck in the middle for 8 hours XD and i had to listen to the 2 guys talk around me!! i wanted to move but the flight attendant said i had to sit in my own seat, just in case the plane crashed then they would know who was where and who was who -__-

I actually love long plane rides n_n;; I've had to take many going from Kansas to France now. I always have my mp3 player, comics, DS, books, and the play list of movies memorized so I can watch each on during the flight xD

I've....never been on an airoplane. :oops: But for long journies, reading, writing, talking and listening to music are my bordom killers. When I get my laptop, however, that's all I'll be doing.

I listen to my iPod the whole time and I'm perfectly content. I kind of find it hard to believe considering I wouldn't be able to do that in a car ride.

I recently was on an airplane, because I was visiting my family in California. XD

I usually read when I'm on a plane. Last time, I was reading the Death Note manga, and the time before that, a book about the history of Ireland.

Airport security? Funny family story....

So, my mom and I were going to California. We put our bags in the X-ray scanner, and when my bag came out, they asked if they could look through it. It turned out that what they were worried about was.... toothpaste. Apparently, I had several tubes in my bag for some reason, and didn't put them in a plastic bag, so they had to take them away. We all know that this was a security precaution, but we joke now that "toothpaste is the new national threat." XD

My longest airplane trips have been no longer than two and a half hours haha. So.. I've never had a problem with them. But I really like to take flights. They're super fun just knowing how high up you are and how fast you're going and such :'3

I do the same. And I always get stuck behind small children and/or people who put their seat back. I've actually held people's seats forward while they tried to recline it before.

Whats' the coolest place you've ever flown to?

I'm going on a plane trip in a couple of days to go visit DIGITALKAKASHI <3333 and anyway I've been making lists of what I want to bring...

However in the situation that I'm going to be in the airport terminals waiting longer than I'll be on the planes so I bought a lot of things over the weekend to keep me occupied:

- a new CD player
- a new CD (Aly & AJ Insomniac, yeah I didn't think I would but I did)
- Pride and Prejudice

I THOUGHT that was all I was going to spend on...but when I went to my college orientation they told all of us students that we have required reading, so I had to buy yet ANOTHER book.

- Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder ((in which Tracy the author is actually a GUY))

I also have a lot of media things I'll be bringing with me

- my laptop
- my supposed new phone if I buy it because I actually need it
- my huge CD book with DVDs, games, and CDs that DigitalKakashi and I would actually chill to
- another book: The Starter Wife, so I have three books to occupy myself
- Gameboy and games ((and I'll probably be buying myself a DS when I get to DK's))
- iPod

**The CD player was actually backup for my iPod because iPods run out of battery faster, and I'll just buy myself a huge pack of batteries for my CD player, anyway they have most of the same songs but of course iPod has more beyond my CDs.

Anyway I may eventually have more stuff than that but at least we know I'm more than fully entertained to sit in an airport and in an airplane for a long time. At least my layover's not that bad (maybe a couple hours at the most).

I'd bring my music-loaded laptop and sleep on my siblings. xDD

I was just in a CAR for 10 hours with my best friend and her super annoying brothers. Ugh. A plane, where I could move around, and avoid the idiots...I mean boys....would be heaven.
