I LOVE LAMP.
Long, long ago....
My mum got me a kick ass pair of boots for my birthday. They're knee-high, steel-toed and have four buckles up along the back. Very expensive, very nice boots. One little problem: They're two sizes too big. (Size conversions...bah!) Does that stop me from wearing them? Heck, no! And I've worn them almost everyday since I received them. They're just now starting to wear out on me, but I love them so much...I might just pay to get them fixed instead of letting them retire. I often wear my sister's clothes because alot of the time they fit me too xD. It's kind of funny As for foot wear all my shoes are black and I only have 4 pairs xD I'm not much a shoe fan |

It seems as if some people get really attached to clothing. Like, I have a pair of pants that are really awesome. They're made by Tripp and they've got pockets and zippers all over. There was like, about 2 years when I couldn't fit into them because they were too small, but now that I've lost weight, they're way too big. I insist on wearing them anyhow though with a belt, even though it's awkward and uncomfortable. |
I once had a t-shirt, it was deadugly but it was made from this very soft stuff
that people also make towels off. So I wore it like a week, without changing to another shirt, thats how much I loved them... I was 10 or something XD And I also had red rain boots, I even wore them in hot summer days XD People in the neithborhood were like: "Oh there she is with her red boots!" |

Theyre Brahma work boots (SWAT style), theyre the comfiest things Ive ever worn. n_n I cant bear to let go of my cameras. Even though I dont have access to a photo lab, and I wouldnt let wal-mart develop my precious black and white film (they know NOTHING of contrast), I cant bear to let them go. ;~; A lot of my pants are a size or so to big, Im generally between a size 16 and 18; and I barely see places that make size 17 jeans. o__O; But eh. A belt fixes a lot of things. :O |
I have these sandals that I wear around the house.
I've had them for years, and so far I've glued them back together a few times. Those boots sound awesome, by the way. |
I think I can be a tad materialistic, so I 'treasure' many of my possessions. Ehe. Or perhaps I treasure things in good condition. Even if it's someone else's and it gets scratched, I'm still the one fretting over it.
I've had the same yellow blanket and bunny blanket since I was a baby. The yellow one is in tatters and the other has held up considerably well. I still go to sleep at night with the bunny blanket. Not that I'm creepy attached and have to take it on vacation or anything. It's just probably one of my sincerely most used items. XD I've worn the same shirts for years, but they still fit. I guess that wouldn't count for anything, would it? I've got wide feet, so it's hard to find kick-arse shoes. I totally envy you, hehe. Although, I do have an entire drawer devoted to socks... Honestly, I loved the topic title. Great flashback to a funny movie. Actually, that actor has been in a lot of movies lately, or he's coming out with them. O.o |
I love that movie, but anyway I love my stuffed animals. I'm 20 I have about the same number sitting on our (my boyfriend being the other person) bed. Thank goodness he doesn't mind.
Then there's my craft supplies, especially my yarn, and beads, and fabrics... oh I love my supplies I covet them. There is nothing better when your depressed then to pick up a nice soft squish skein of yarn in a beautiful shade and make it into something even more beautiful, except maybe my many stuffies... depends on the reason I'm sad. Other than that I used to have a pair of jeans I got from a thrift store. They were broken in perfectly and I loved them, wore them almost everyday. Then I got hips and they wouldn't fit anymore. I kept them just for the sentiment. Then I decided I needed to move on and made them into a purse for my friend... I still miss them sometimes. |
I have this black fleece jacket I bought at the fair, (it was raining and I hadn't brought a coat) which has like kitty ears or demon horns or whatever on the hood. I wear it almost every day and my heart was broken when the zipper finally broke. I still wear it though, it just makes for a crappy coat.

Hmm lets see i dont know anything that i have kept over a lot of years. No cloths well not that i wear anymore at least i was a dancer when i was younger and i still have the costumes.

I have a few articles of clothing that I am extremely attached to.
My Dr.Pepper shirt (there's a few rips by the collar that I need to mend), a fleece blanket (not clothing, but something I love) that I received Seven or Eight years ago that has my name sewn into a corner. It's still in good condition, aside from the stitching falling out on side. |
I had a shirt like that. XXXL on a person who wears a M-L (XL in Juniors because they're too damn tight) isn't attractive, but comfy as hell. I wore that shirt to sleep in nearly every night until it had an unfortunate run-in with my hot chocolate.
I also love my laptop. It was a reward for getting straight A's for all of 6th grade, very close for 7th, as well as a combination Christmas/birthday present. Nice surprise, I might say. The deal was that if I did good for those 2 years my dad would chip in toward me buying one. I feel rather guilty, though, since I got him a $20 paper shredder... |
I can't go anywhere without taking my concert wearables with me. Not really the shirts, but more of the wristband I got from the Hyde concert last year and the dogtag I got from the Dir en grey concert this past February. I wear them constantly and only take them off to shower or sleep. I feel naked without them. xP
When I was younger, I used to keep my favorite shirts for as long as possible before my mum would give them away or throw them out. I remember having this offwhite shirt with butterflies that formed the shape of a heart in the center of it when I was really little, and I think i kept that shirt all the way up to when I was in middle school because I refused to have it thrown out. It was only once I couldn't get it over my head anymore that I finally said okay to having it donated to the Salvation Army place. xP |

x What inanimate object do YOU love? Hmm... my computer? 8D *shot* Ehh, I can't really think of anything I always wear or really like wearing. Nobody best get between me and my bluejeans, though. D< x It doesn't fit, but I'll wear it anyway. For stuff like that, if they're shirts or something, I usually just wear them at night, to sleep in. But as for boots, iunno, I have to have nicely fitting footwear or blisters abound. xD; x Kick ass footwear Hmm.. shamefully, none of my footwear has kicked many asses. I favour my Ohmm ring above all else. I also love a yellow jacket i have, and a orange one exactly the same style. Oh, and a pair of trousers i had the other day.

But I have this small,kind of tight fitting long T-shirt with their name on it in small blue lettering,its comfy,I hate the band,love the shirt,and its two sizes too small so I wear a black tank top under it. I WILL NEVER GET RID OF IT. Although its fadding,like my others item I love,my old jacket,it started out as black,I've had it since middle school,its a brown color instead of black I've worn it so much now. I'm keeping it. What inanimate object do YOU love?
My scrubs that look like Aquaman's outfit. It's damn awesome. I also am in love with my computer. And then there's my gorgeous ball-joint doll who dresses better than I do. It doesn't fit, but I'll wear it anyway. That rarely happens. Usually I'll only wear things that are too big. Once in a blue moon I'll wear a smallish shirt to show off teh boobs, but like I said. Once in a blue moon. Kick ass footwear Naw, don't really have any. I wear my Chuck Taylors, and that's IT. Lamps and the People Who Love Them Well... lamps are handy when sewing... Otherwise I can't see. >.> |
I love several inanimate objects like plushies and clothing, and no matter how much I outgrow them, I won't let my mother get rid of them. BUT she always gets rid of them when I'm not in the house. D< I get so mad!
