I love to cook. I rarely follow recipes, so nothing turns out the same twice. My favorites are my apple-cranberry upside down cake and beef stoup/stewp (stew+soup=stoup or stewp). I can also make hash browns and baked potato salad (sour cream, butter, and garlic instead of mayo and stuff), but neither are that good.

I've ruined so many good pots and pans with my attempts at something edible it's not even funny. The most recent was when I forgot to put butter in when I was melting down sugar and it wouldn't come off of the pan :roll:

I've exploded my fair share of things too, but I can't remember any right now.

No, I can count all the things I have successfully made more than once on both hands.... I can't even boil potatoes!! My cooking skills are pathetic... ^^
- Do you have any original recipes?
I put milk, cocoa powder and cinnamon in instant hot chocolate if that counts... I don't really see it as cooking, but it's my only original recipe...
Are they tasty?
It adds flavour, and makes it more of a mouthful... removes a lot of the water taste as well...

No, but I once saw our frying pan catch fire... that was a nightmare... I was scared half to death... There was a bonfire on our stove!!! (I was rather young tho, but I think I would be just as afraid if it happened again...
- Make anything go *BOOM*?
My friend once made their microwave oven go boom... She'd left a fork on the plate, and left the room... She heard the BOOM and ran to the kitchen.. The whole thing had exploded, hot, liquid plastic everywhere in the kitchen, and no sign of the fork... They never found it again :shock:
Another friend of mine made gunpowder in his parents kitchen.. He was watching the house while they were on holiday... He made mini-bombs, and blew them up every time he could, just to get attention ^^

I usually enjoy cooking. Unfortunately, I can't really afford to be creative so I have to stick with the basic/cheap/limited things we have around. This results in me not enjoying the process as much. I'd love to start baking and making a "different" meal once a week but the lack of money says "ahaha, plain, regular, basic food for you!" Meaning, just about every meal we have includes a side-dish of canned, whole kernel corn.

I've messed up a pot or pan when cooking, mainly because I grew up in a house that used propane stoves, though now I have an electric. The cooking surface takes a while to heat up, because you're cooking on metal coils. Also, the coils take longer to adjust to a temperature decrease, which also bothers me. It's one thing to know your pot itself is going to stay a bit hotter, but when the cooking surface also stays at a "boil" setting when you want it on "simmer"... I didn't have a hard time in making mistakes. I think I've got the hang of it though.

Through all my mistakes, I've never exploded anything, thankfully! Also, I guess that's because I tend to cook the same things, since I've a limited selection of ingredients. I generally know how to handle the ingredients, so not many surprises await me.

I used to like to cook. Then I became... <suspense music> LAZYYY </end>

Yeah, I sucked at it... but I kept trying.
I like to bake cakes, the ones that come in the boxes with all the instructions.
I can't even make those. xD

I once set a pan on fire. The fire got to the ceiling and dissapeared.
I freaking almost had a heart attack. xD

So I mostly stick to microwaving stuff now.

No, I can't cook at all. D: I would like to learn but whenever my mom force me, I'm like, "No! D<". So yea. Dx I would love to bake sweets though. *0*

I can cook. I've been cooking since I was four, just barely able to reach the stove without a chair (I've been tall my whole life).

Growing up, I've had some mishaps. I remember when I was thirteen or fourteen I watched this cooking show where a man was making chocolate shells with inflated balloons. I thought it'd be great.

My idea was to create chocolate shells of my own and fill them with pudding.

Never again. x_x; The walls were covered. It took hours to clean up. I had the chocolate too hot and it popped all the balloons. I reckon I could do it now that I'm more experienced, but eh.

I've recently gotten into making sushi. I'm not great at it, but it's really tasty. It's my technique for rolling that sucks.

I'm not so great at cooking. It's not like I can't cook at all, but I just...don't really care. I'm quite good at making fresh veggie salads. But I like to bake cookies, especially if there's cinnamon included. I love cinnamon. :3

I love to cook sweets!

Fudge, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, squares, pies, you name it, I've made it from scratch! The best thing is a really grueling recipe. One day it took me 6 hours to make bread and then a layer cake with homemade icing.

I never ate a single piece of that damn 4 hour cake. D:<

But it looked so bootiful with all the ribbons and icing all finalized... ; 3;

I've never really came up with an original recipe, just stuff I've tweeked to my liking. D:

No, I can’t cook very well. I have to follow a recipe if I’m cooking something more complex. I’ve only ruined one pan and that was because I left noodles on the stove for like three hours and they burned to the bottom of the pan. I also caught a toaster oven on fire because I left French fries in it. I hate to cook so I try to avoid it if I can, but I do end up cooking a lot of my own food because I’m a vegetarian and no one else in my family is.

I like cooking asian food, japanese stuff in particular. The thing I 'm best at making is chicken donburi. I read the recipe once, made ten million edits and additions, and now it make the same way each time XD It's actually good, but some stuff that I make is...not quite as tasty.
Like I bought this package of Sapporo Ichiban noodles, and added green beans and soy sauce and a whole slew of other strange things to it. The resulting dish almost made me puke XXD
I never exploded anything, but I did put foil in the microwave one time XD

Apparently, I can only knead and bake stuff ;w;

I'm still in the process of "cooking" itself xD

I tried frying stuff but it failed >>;

I forgot that you should fry things when the oil is hot enough so that the food won't absorbe the grease X-x;
