Everyone has a personality, if we didn't do things in different ways we would all be the same blob of human....quite boring, no?

I disslike when it becomes a trend for people to constantly refer to themselves by their first name but only because it can become confusing.
Generally it doesn't irritate me much and it can be quite entertaining when used correctly. I often say things such as "Ali is a funny girl" in a very quiet and sad voice. It can be difficult to read online, though, as it's sometimes hard to understand who the person is speaking about. |
I speak in third person every now and then, but its usually when I'm bored and don't have anything to do. I know it can be annoying to other people, so I pretty much refrain from using it in conversations.

I occasionally talk in third person and I have no problem with other people talking in third person. Though I usually save it for when I'm talking online and do switch back and forth.

It's okay it some situations, like when you are using to make a point, or to make a joke, or even an auto biography. But if you are just using for the heck of it when you type something out, or especially when you are talking, just don't. |
