I think it's great that you can knit! O:
I can't... I have yet to teach myself a thing aside from drawing. xD I just lack the motivation, so yea... I'm impressed that you taught yourself to knit. It doesn't matter if you're a guy/girl... it's just something to do to pass time... which is how I am with drawing.

Zane Troy 10-24-2007 09:11 PM

Thanks so much future! It's really cool that you taught yourself how to draw! I wish I could do that!

Yea I took em over to a friends, they were having a Halo 3 party, and some of the guys were drinking, and one person, I don't know who, but someone stepped on one of my needles, it was bent almost like a V, a little more open though..><;;; I was frustrated, but I got over it because they aren't a lost so. And I tried to straighten it out, and it looks/feels all wavy, it is kind of wierd sometimes when I am knitting, but I dont feel like spending 4-7 dollars on more needles, and I dont feel like switching out the needles either, although it would be easy Lol.

I do not find it crazy. I knit. I am not crazy. I think. . .

Meroko-chii 10-25-2007 08:25 PM

Well, there is nothing wrong about learning how to knit. I taught myself how to knit and I can only make gloves, legwarmers and scarves.

I have taught myself how to play DDR at the age of seven. I'm pretty good at it still, for not playing in about 7 years. I taught myself how to draw manga and I have learned how to make cute little stuffed animals. Of course, I taught myself how to ride a skateboard. My cousins wanted me to learn, see how fast I would pick up. It took me three months...

*stares at the tray of cookies* Hmmm....cookies! *takes one, eats one and then takes another* Thank you~!

phrank 10-26-2007 12:26 AM

I think knitting's pretty awesome.
Since I really like scarves and everything.

Zane Troy 10-26-2007 12:29 AM

Yeah, I don't wear scarves, but I do like to make them. It takes me a while though.

BlackFeatherAngel 11-05-2007 06:17 PM

Yeah, it's been a while since anyone replied, I had almost given up the thread as dead.

Anyway, my progress is going slow because I've started 2 others. I'm almost a quarter done with the one for my mom though.

TwistedOrchestra 11-05-2007 07:40 PM

I used to knit, but its not my style, and im a girl xD
I'm to impatient for it.

Inochi Jigoku 11-05-2007 07:44 PM

I used to knit when I was a freshman because I went to an afterschool program and they had a knitting class. The only thing I ever knit was a purple scarf. (our school colors are purple and white). I never wore it because its kinda messed up in the begining and then really nice on the other end. Its been sitting in my closet since then.

Wow...it's cool that you had a class that you could attend after school for that. It's probably a lot harder to teach yourself like I did, but anyway thanks for your comment.

BlackFeatherAngel 11-05-2007 07:54 PM

My progress has slowed because I procrastinate..>< lawl

I will get back in the habit soon I hope.

Zane Troy 11-05-2007 08:03 PM

heh, speaking of procrastinaion,I've owed someone avi art for over a month now....I think they may have even forgotten it....
but I've been having fun going into paint and coloring my sketches....I'm not too good at it, but it's fun!

BlackFeatherAngel 11-05-2007 08:08 PM

I want to open up avi art commissions..but I am worried about either over booking myself or getting nothing..><

Zane Troy 11-05-2007 08:14 PM

Yeah,my excuse is that I don't have time to draw anymore, but you'd think if I had the time to sit for at least 1-2 hours for each of these that I'd have time to draw, right?

  • @BlackFeatherAngel: If you get nothing, it really doesn't hurt. It's a little sad, but you don't really lose anything but a bit of time. ^^; So many failed shops.... xD Making a very short availability list helps prevent overbooking, as well. ^^

BlackFeatherAngel 11-05-2007 08:53 PM

Zane: What I do is make time for art, I tend to work on one piece (i try atleast) once a day at least for 1-2 hours.

Indi: Yea, I don't like failure though. Also I dont know what I'd charge for my art..><

-btw- the art in my sig is by me.

Zane Troy 11-05-2007 09:03 PM

I thought it might be.
*envies the artistic abilities of Black*

BlackFeatherAngel 11-05-2007 09:08 PM

It took me weeks...>< Thanks I suppose..>>

All together I am happy with it, there are some aspects that I dont like about it. >>

If you want to see more, pm me, or if you want to buy...O.o not to sure about that, but if you want to, pm me. O.o

And with knitting, I doubt I'll get it finished before it stops being cold.

Zane Troy 11-05-2007 09:18 PM

Well, if it wasn't for my major huge quest then I'd totally buy. Do you do OCs?

BlackFeatherAngel 11-05-2007 09:30 PM

Yea, I do.

I am looking to buy stuff, haven't set up a quest thread yet.
