I don't think it's that creepy. I mean he didn't want to know your bra size or see nakie pics of you. Maybe he just wants to know about his fans

Perhaps he's just trying to show interest in his fans? Ah well. I just hope for the two autographs like I requested. xD

  • Is that kinda how his character might reply? Because if it is, then all he's doing is just staying in character. Or his secratary is for him. xD

I don't think that's very creepy. Lol, sounds kind of like fun to me. Don't worry about it or think too much of it, just have fun and get yourself an autograph!

No no. This isn't the character. this is HIM. I e-mailed HIM. not the character. xD I'd NEVER e-mail the character.

It's just creepy. o_O

He might just be messing with you. Actors and stars are sometimes mean to their fans. ;_;

  • I know that. But would the character he plays possibly reply like that?

Some actors tend to like to stay in character if someone is e-mailing them. I dunno why, but some do. It makes for some amusing conversations sometimes. xD

I e-mailed back acting all serious. xDDDDDDD

But, um. no, he's not the kind of person that would use his character. And his Character wouldn't speak like that.

I've heard weirder. It mostly helps to go to the studio - I have a niece that works for a soap opera my sister adores, so we got to go to the set one day.

In any case, don't reply if that feels uncomfortable to you. If you want to, chat a bit with him and let him know when he's going too far, but I wouldn't give him any more details about where you live or your phone number

No, that doesn't seem too creepy to me. It's just a guy trying to quickly answer his e-mail, and trying to appear personable to his fans. He probably wrote it out without a second thought. And after all - I'd want to get to know the people I'm sending my autograph to. It's no fun if they always seem to be empty faces in the audience. I bet that he didn't have enough time (or energy) to write a full letter back, so he just typed that out in a small effort to seem like he's interested.

Well, seeing as its an e-mail, tone can't be taken into consideration.
But, being the paranoid little twitchball I am, I'd take that the wrong way and I'd freak out, and possibly not ask for an autograph ever again. xD
I'd be creeped out, especialy with the ellipses at the end. >_>

Ew... XD
Maybe the email adress was fake?

I mean, come on, I don't think that actor would do such a thing.
It's bad for his career xD

Maybe he need to know more about you before he sent his signature to you?

I've gotten weird emails from people I don't know not spam but actual emails asking how my day went or what I'm doing at night. needles to say I don't respond to them.

I would think it was cool to actually get a response. Especially one that was more than just the typical thank you letter with your name copied and pasted in.
Also, if it were me, getting fanmail like that, I would definitely want to know more about the person. I mean, who wouldn't be interested? This is someone who cares enough to contact you personally and ask for an autograph. I'd definitely want to know who they were, and why they wanted it, if only out of curiosity.

It was probably his assistant being stupid or something. I don't see an actor asking you something like that just because you asked for an autograph. Are you sure the email address was right? Maybe it went to the wrong person or something.

..... I don't know? It could be a concentrated effort to take an interest in you. Maybe he thought your address was cool or something. I mean, you asked HIM for his autograph, he asked YOU for a bit of information...... *shrugs* It wasn't anything creepy. (Unless he gets more detailed.)

We will DEFINITELY see what happens. If I get any sort of autograph/letter in the mail, I'll post a thread and let you all know.

If I get a reponse, I'll post it here. xD

Maybe it's one of those generic responses because he's too busy/lazy to read his email?

I’m a huge fan of this pretty well known band and I e-mail the bass player one day because I was pretty much bored. He replied and I freaked out. The next show of theirs I went to, I won a meet and greet and he recognized me from my picture on my MySpace. We still talk to this day so it was a pretty net thing. You never know what can come out of things and not all well known people are jerks.
