Chaoticness, you must live (or lived) near me! x3
Currently, I attend Burgess Hill School for Girls - it's got a Sixth Form centre and I'm taking English, Art, and Psychology for my A-levels. I get 25% off the fees though, because I'm a scholar. Independant schooling... @[email protected] I must seem so posh. M'homing to go off to University in... YorkOxfordWarwickExeterUCLKing'sumumum... I'm applying next year, before a gap year trip to New Zealand. Woo-hoo! |
My schools are all in Michigan. Sorry about the late reply.

OMG no way!!! Did you know a person called Emma Barham?? I think she went to that school?? I did Art, English Language, Graphics and Psychology for my A Levels too! how are you finding them? I had to drop psychology after As level though, lol i hated the exam even though i loved the subject :(. But a Gap year to New Zeland sounds awesome!!! what are you gonna do whilst your out there??? have you organised work or is it just gonna involve random travel? My best friend applied to Warwick and Exeter, she managed to get in at Exeter and she left home to start there last week!! She loves it and she has met some really really nice people there :) She is studying Law though...lol i'm not that clever. But we all know she's gonna be the next female Prime Minnister lol and she is going to make me head of security 8) |
It sounds vaguely familiar... but I barely know anybody from the year above me whose just left, so I wouldn't count on it. xD
Whee, similar subjects! x3 'Cept I'm English Lit. and I did Textiles at AS-level and only dropped it because I could put a brick through my teacher's head. >___< Exams are tough... but I don't mind the psychology ones... I seem to have boosted my revision technique and despite joining the class a month later than everybody else (I was taking History, but those exams make your hand hurt, so how I managed through three hours of Eng. Lit. without cramp is a mystery) I got full marks in both my exams. Not so well on the coursework... @[email protected] but good enough, teetering on the A boundary. It's fascinating, isn't it, though? We have a lovely teacher - "You're all going to be schizophrenic by Christmas!" - whose just lubblyjubbly! xD When I'm in New Zealand... I'm hoping to work for a bit (we have a friend whose a teacher... I need to get a visa) and then travel around, a lot. Lots of rambling and looking at nature things. I want to go back to the Waitomo glow worm caves, and QUEENSTOWN, and ski. And eat lots of good food. It'll also be good for independance. I'm really excited. x3 I'll keep an eye out for her in the papers, then! I have a friend up North who goes to Exeter... It's meant to be great fun there. xD But you're doing art, aren't you? @[email protected] *scales back a couple of posts* Because that's brilliant too! |
haha sounds like most design / technology teachers are the same then lol my graphics teacher was a bit useless. he told us we had all got A grades on our coursework this year and as long as we did well on the exams we would get the A grades we wanted, when i got my results back i had only got a B on my coursework but i managed to do well on the exams so the grade didn't drop any lower thank goodness. Turns out he had completely forgooten about on section on the work and we hadn't covered in enough detail.
Aww history sounds hard D: sarah did history and i know she was usually complaining cause she had to write so much lol. haha and your psychology teach sounds great XD. we had an art teach like that called ms summons, she was fantastic and used to call everyone Boris lol. but she was mad!!! her lessons were the best!! sounds like you'll have a fantabulous time in New Zealand!!! just remember to take a camera lol. oh and be really prepared, one guy in my year announced he was taking a gap year to china and teaching english over there, we al responded with "oh wow when are you going?" and he said in two days time....he still hadn't got everything he needed nor had he packed anything XD n_n yep lol i decided to dedicate my life to art rather than teaching primary school children. What are you studying to become?? I really miss seeing my friend even though we email and talk constantly. i'm currently planning a trip to go and visit her at exeter when we have a break from our course. so that should be fun. |
My college is called Philological School of Higher Education, it's in Poland.

I'm trying to arrange my gap year now... I'm waiting for an email back from our friends (I may contact her again, in case the former didn't get through or something... it's been a week, they're a busy family, but even so it's a little... odd!) As for the travelling round the islands bit, I'm going to go through the guide book with my Dad - maybe when we're on our way to the York open day on Thursday evening! : D >3< I have a guy friend whose not at SOAS in London... His girlfriend (my friend, I hitched them up! @[email protected]) is up to see him this weekend. I miss him. He's my chai tea latte buddy at Cafe Nero (and incredibly jealous I got first dibs on it as an email and username form! Hahaha!) so I don't know HOW I'm going to de-stress now! I'm not sure what I'm studying to become... For a while I was torn between English and Art in terms of higher education, but I know I can always come back to my art - I know several people who've done that very successfully, studied English then returned to Art. I might be an author. Or do a Masters and be a University professor... I really don't know where I'm headed! |
I go to the University of South Australia, guess where that is...?
lol, Australia, more specifically South Australia. |

indeed they are!! they are also the ones that you will always remember, like my primary school teacher for our last year(she wore smartie boots and was completely crazy) i will never ever forget her XD. well I hope that you manage to get in touch with them and you can organise your gap year trip, maybe when your out there you could keep a journal on menewsha XD lol if you have the time that is! And good luck on your open day at York on Thursday!!! Sounds like the kinda best friend relationship i have with Sarah in Exeter except were "soul twins" (yeah a long story but we believe we knew each other in a past life lol) and i'm struggling to de-stress as you put it, it just not the same trying to talk to other people about stuff, they just don't get it like sazzie does, also she was brilliant at giving advice. *sighs* i really do miss her. Aww well whatever you decide to become i'm pretty sure you'll be successful at whatever you do. You seem to be a really positive person so i am sure you'll do great!!! |
Omg, i finally got around to updating the list. I'm so sorry it took so long, i'll try to be more on top of things in the future, guys :'3 Yay, people are already meeting each other x'3 I wanna meet someone from Arlington! *jumps up and down* As it is now, i've got my coworkers, my boyfriend, and our roommates to hang out with... well, he's about all i need, anyway <33 |
