I can't remember if I've ever wounded myself while doing the dishes, but I know I've broken things. I was flicking water off of a glass once, while telling someone that I think the stock market is like a suicidal emo kid, and right as I said it, I accidentally smashed the cup on the side of the sink. :o

I can't get away with doing one sink full f dishes without cutting myself on something, even If I am wearing gloves, It sucks, I complain about it each time they make me and they ignore me... T_T And then I cut myself on something. T_T

Nope, I hate doing dishes. I love my dishwasher to bits and pieces. I have done my own dishes though. I've lived in several apartments which didn't have a dishwasher. I never cut myself because I'm always extremely careful with the sharp parts. I have poked myself with a fork before though. :o

i actually havent cut myself doing teh dishes but i have cut myself opening a box of three-in-one cereal....my mom had asked what was wrong and when i showed her my cut she passed out from the sight of the blood i guess

Someone left a food processor blade in the dishes at work and I ended up slicing my hand open on that before. That’s the only thing that I can think of right now. It majorly sucked because the cleaner I was using stung the heck out of my hand when I cut it. When I'm at home I put things directly in the dish washer.

Thats funny. Haha. Pun. :3 Well..I have one..sorta.. So I put the dishes in the dishwasher and when it was done and time to open the dishwasher up and put the dishes away, I had forgotten that the water temp. they use is a billion degrees! I had quickly opened the door to the washer and immidiately put my face and arms INTO the dishwasher..and OMG IT BURRNT. My glasses got soo fogged up and I had to take them off because the metal on the frames were sizzling. My face was red and my fingers were numb. D; Moral: Never do what i did. D; |
It didn't take me long to figure out that you can't stick your whole hand down in a glass. I was washing my dishes when I stuck my hand down in the glass to wash it, I twisted my hand and the glass cracked and sliced the side of my hand, youch!!

Yeah maybe I had some stupid accidents while trying to help my mother on the work of the house... xD
Let see one of the ones that I hate is when I have to cut the bread. But sometimes my stupid hand likes to use the knife to cut my fingers instead of cutting the bread decently. I try to wash the dishes sometimes when the MACHINE that is to wash the dishes is not working or is full and my mother needs some extra dishes for her work. It sucks because I tend to break plates and cups of glasses.. I don't know why but gravity likes to give me pranks... Or maybe the plates and cups just love to fly out from my hands and have a little adventure while slams against the floor! >-< |
Nope. I'm always very careful around dishes. I won't reach into water if I can't see what's in it. I always make sure to pick up knives one at a time. Although usually it's only to put things into the dishwasher. I hardly have time to actually wash the dishes myself anymore...I have papers to write and tests to study for. ._.;;

I don't have any chores unless my parents feel like yelling at me and making me do something to make themselves feel better. They yell at me when there's nothing else alive to yell at.

Aside from occasionally dropping things, i never really have any accidents... mostly they just pile up cause my family eats a lot... Except for me since I have no time. So I get stuck doing their dishes.... speaking of... I should go do that....

My night time job is washing silverwear at the college dinning center. I haven't hurt myself yet but I nearly cut myself when dropping knives. They get slippery. D=

I'm extremely usless at washing dishes. I try, I really do, but somehow they never seem to get clean. Which is why I usually do the drying instead of the washing.
I always cut myself pulling knives out of the dishwasher, because my family insists on putting them in sharp-tips up. Ouchies. |

Besides slipping and falling off the dirty dishes water on the floor, I haven't had incidents associated with washing dishes. It drives me crazy when my dad asks me to wash the dishes and he still left gunk on his plate from 5 nights ago, though. I dislike that chore.

*thinks* No! but I'm often angry when I do the dishes cos I hate them so muchm I dont know why! I drop large knives often which is scary.. You know what really GRINDS MY GEARS?! rubber gloves that have holes in them! I really hate getting wet hands when they're not supposed to be O_O *flail* I dont mind doing them at work, cos we have a dishwasher =D *bung em in turn it on take em out* But we're too poor for a dishwasher... *sob* |
