aww that really hurt!!
it sucks..

well, i haven't tried having wounds because of dishes.. because normally, i don't wash the dishes.. our helper does it. but when i was young, my mother let me wash them sometimes because she says she wants to "train" me how to wash them... what the hell?! but during those times i really havent been wounded seriously (though several times i broke glasses and plates and other stuffs)..

so.. how are you now? i guess it hurts alot. are you okay? i hope so.. and by the way, how do you type injured? xP don't type that much.. wounds heal for about weeks.. i'm sure it'd be difficult for you to type.. but if you really enjoy surfing the internet, then do so... ^^

Aww i hope your finger is ok now though??

I haven't had any 'dirty dishes' incidents but i spent the whole of yesterday afternoon in casualty with a friend from college because whilst we were clearin the art studio she accidentally rolled a bit of wire mesh into her wrist.....twas not very nice and i'm not too great with blood either. but we got her sewn back together again before the end of college lol.

It does hurt alot.

I've broken many glass cups and plates, but no injuries yet! And I do the dishes at least 3-4 nights each week. =]

My friend has a scar on her eyebrow from a freak canoeing accident. It involved me, her, and running into a tree :3

Though I've always wanted to over dramaticly destroy a plate... i duno i just do... while im in an argument or something...

I remember I had a cup once, and i dropped it. It landed on its bottom ridge thing, and it bloody bounced!! it was funny. But I didn't catch it on the rebound so it dropped, didnt get so lucky and broke... >.<

Well, a while ago back I got REAL bored...So I went into my mom's room.

Since she has anemia, she gets a lot of medications and tools from the medical clinic she works at. I found a scalpel while she was in the family room(mothers and their Hispanic soap operas -rolls eyes-) and decided to pretend I was a doctor-It was still in it's cover(it looked like it) so I though "Hey, I can really kill my self..." Then 'splshhh!' I cut my self. I slowly walked through the hall way, when I found mother walking through the hallway also. I showed her my cut..."OMFG OISDHJFF!!!11! I just used that on my wounds!" O_O She cleaned it out with the extra disinfectant she had. xD Bwaha.

I cut my thumb really bad on a non-serrated knife before. I didn't know it was in the water I thought all I had left were spoons I I thrust my hand in there and grab a spoon and WHAM it cuts open my thumb I take it out and I'm all wtf you're not a spoon!
Then I called my mom and had her put on band aid on it and kiss it then she told me to finish the dishes. -_- (I think I was 8 when this happened)

I was doing the dishes just last night and I accidently dropped a china cup in the water and it broke! I was so angry with myself that I wasn't paying attention and I cut myself on the broken china bits as I was taking it out of the water. And coz the water was really hawt it made the cut bleed more didn't it? It hurts now even whilst I type, my fiance just laughed at me and so I poked my tongue out at him and called him a stupid male for not caring enough about my boo boo =^_^=

Er.... Not like that, no. I can't actually think of anything bad that's ever happened while I was doing the dishes...... I enjoy it when they're my germs and no one else's, though. I'm usually overcautious when I'm dealing with sharp knives, though.

One time while emptying the dishwasher, I cut my finger on a knife, and it hurt. :<

I hate washing dishes. With a passion. I'll dry them, I'll set the table, I'll clear the table, but I hate washing them. I've had way too many of those accidents, several of which got me into the hospital with my hand sliced open. It was never my fault, but rather our cheap glasses that shatter at the slightest change of temperature. And the fact that my mother will throw sharp knives into the soapy water basin, where you can't see them until you stick your hand down there and grab the edge.

I was washing a glass. While my hand was in it. It broke. So my hand got cut really deep. Still got the scar.

I've had that happen on several occasions. I hate it when it happens.
At least its been a couple of years since I've cute myself on anything.
That's always good.

I sliced the top of my hand on a knife once when I was putting the dishes away - I didn't notice it and accidentally slid on it when I was grabbing something out of the drain board.

I also had a glass break while I was washing it and cut myself - it sucked - and the soap stung.

Hope your finger heals - no more dishes for you ;)

I've cut myself loads of time with dishes. xD Blasted knives and peelers.

It's the biggest issue when you have to wash the dishes. x.x

That sounds horribly painful! D= I tried doing that with an orange once.

Blasted knife slipped and knicked me. It wasn't to bad.

I rarely help with washing the dishes. . . my parents do make me do a lot of chores :D . However, I do break plates and glasses when setting the table. No wounds from that yet, fortunately.

I have never cut myself washing dishes.

Although once I did break a plate in the most Lizzie McGuire-esque fashion. I tripped over my own damn feet walking up the stairs and plate flew (most dramatically) out of my hands and shattered.
It was really fucking funny.
