i try to post as long as possible its just kind of hard to make more than a sentence and i also agree that topics shouldnt be wasted with replying to one sentence i try my best i usually post a few sentences to a paragraph though its just some people can sum there answer or reply up in one sentence.

it's not tham i'm lazy or anything but sadly there is nothing i find worthy of discussing that would take more than a paragraph in a post and i really hate card or gambling games so i eally can't find an easy way to make money in this site

To me, it matters on how I am into the topic. Like if it was the Pocky topic......'d probably put something like, "The __________ is my favorite." Or something. Sometimes I have really long replies.....it just matters how I strongly agree/disagree with that topic. -nodnod- |
I agree. People don't deserve items and rewards unless they have earned it via hard work. :3
I sometimes hard to create a paragraph for a topic depending on what it is. >>; Right now, I'm just getting used to this site because I joined a couple of hours ago. >< I'm trying to post with more than one sentence but its sometimes quite hard....especially with the what is your favourote so and so.... ah well.. |
I just joined ten minutes ago.
I haven't earned any gold from Gaia Online for a while now. I just occasionally log on to check PM's and guilds. As I've been told once, I tend to get 'all inclusive' and talk about a lot of things. It's a flaw of mine. |
I agree

Thanks everyone for the opinions.
Welcome new members, I want you to know that this is a literate community and all members like literate people to talk to, this is a site in which you will find mature people and topics, it is different to other sites, you will find out through time and decide if you like it that way, I consider it is also a good way to develop yourself into a more literate kind of person and that will not only help you make more gold but also to be a better communicative kind of person and that is good everywhere, and it is very useful for your future, believe me , if you want a better job than Mcdonald's you need to learn how to talk /write. Good Luck everyone! |
I fully agree. It's sad to see effort go down the drain, and once some people make a habbit of short, one-lined posts it gets progressively more and more difficult to reply with any substance yourself and revive it.
It's like... there was potential life in the thread, something to talk about, and BAM. Someone went and killed it. DX |

at the base, if we're able to type, read and write, we're all literate no? A French person that has difficulties typing English is still literate although his/her posts can resemble this: "i dun undestaan but i try to help!" But off course, I'm nit-picking. I dislike grammar-nazis and self-proclaimed literates, because I know what it is like to have people picking your posts apart while you're only trying to decently communicate with them in their native language, something you ain't used to (and which is, in fact, a very polite diplomatic gesture). I found your McDonalds statement a tad rude although I know you're trying to be helpful and you try to give us all slight nudge. But imagine a Korean governement official, I don't think they need to be very 'literate' in standard/neutral American English to keep their jobs now do they? And that kind of job is still 'higher up' than a McDo burger-turning one, no? This is all a bit twisted if you ask me. |
I sort of agree. One liners will be good for people who post a lot. Which is fine as long as it's not spam.
I've had, a few one liners myself. <.< But for the most part I tend to be rather long winded. >.> Note: This is the first thread I've been on that would have any real possibility for a debate. |
this sight is really awesome and i dont think topci shouldnt be wasted on one liners and alot of topics die so i try to keep my posts really long for gold and to say what i have to say. it sure is easier to make gold on here than gaia for some reason and for that i am grateful ^)^

I was kinda thinking it was the other way around. Mainly because there are so many different ways to earn gold on Gaia. Posting, poling, puzzles. There are times on Gaia when I get gold just for refreshing the page. (Not saying you're wrong, just announcing my thoughts on the matter. ^-^) Having said all that, it seems to be easier to post here, partly because it's all brand new and sort of exciting, and a little because it's easier to find threads that aren't just like, "Blah, blah, blah, whatever, and nonsense!" And the general population of this site seems to be a little friendlier. |
