Ancient Dust Covered Chocolate? Yum..
Okay so right now, I'm sitting at home, I plan on missing tomorrows school because my stomach is practically expolding and I threw up. Why? I'll tell you:
So I was just coming home from swimming and I was soo hungry, I was looking around my cupboards (sp?) when I found a huge chunk of bare chocolate resting under a box of crackers in the far end corner of the cupboard. I realized 'OMG, this is part of my easter bunny chocolate from months ago! And it's naked. :/' So I sat there staring at it, amazed that it hadn't turned grey considering where its been. I had to leave the kitchen for a while to go do other things, and well lets say a few hours later my dad found it and served it to me. Mind you I had TOTALLY forgotten about the chocolate PLUS I didn't think he'd serve it to me without asking what the hell it was, first.. So I had a peice and my god it was the best tasting thing Ive ever tasted! So I (can't believe) that I took more! ; 3; Not only did I break/cheat my diet, but I had more chocolate that probably had some sort of disease lurking within it! I smelt my hands after eating it and they smelt like old crusty dust.. A few minutes later A.K.A. now my tummy is freaking out and my hands smell rotten. D: I also seem to be sweating O3o So Discuss: Am I dying?! Dx Has something like this happened to you? Do you think the chocolate is carrying a disease? Other.. P.S. Yeah, its gross. ): |

I hope you'll be ok!Sure,chocolate is delicious,but dusty,old ancient chocolate?YUCK.I hope you won't have a hard time dealing with the situation!I also drank expired milk when I was about,7 yrs. old.I kept throwing up...!YUCK!And since that day,I never drank the same brand of milk ever again!Also,once,I was eating chocolate covered biscuits,they were covered in foil,and had only a box as a container.Me and my little brother were hungry,so we looked in the cupboard.We saw the biscuits,unwrapped them,then ate a few,then I saw a worm squirming around the box!And since it was only covered in foil and in a box and not in the fridge,it was vulnerable.I ate anyway.I was so hungry!And I was still 7...!I didn't know what to do!I almost threw up,but I'm not squeamish.WHAT AN EMBARRASSING MEMORY TO SHARE...!!!

First of all, I think you'll be all right. The biggest threat when eating bad food is food poisoning. What you have to do is give yourself several hours to process what you put in there. If you are not feeling any better by tomorrow morning, I would phone the doctor and let him know what's going on. I have eaten some pretty strange things in my life but never anything I think was bad, or 'gone over' as my grandmother would have said. |

im sure you will be fine ^ -^ i mean who wouldt eat old chocolate and have a woozy stumach eh? ;D but i hoep your stumach feels better it has never happened to me before i think it has with other food though i just cant remember waht kind of food at the moment so anywayz im sure its nothing to worry about except throwing up here and there but im sure you will be fine after a while maybe 1-2 days at the least ^_^

eat too much sugar too fast, you can get nauseous, and have terrible headaches. It happens to me a whole lot, but it goes away eventually. I promise. :]] |

Wow. Was the chocolate unwrapped when you found it? If not, chocolate doesn't really expire...I've had chocolate from like 2 christmases ago that still tastes great. Did the chocolate taste at all different from regular chocolate? O_o |

Something like that happened to me once, only with choloate milk. We were at my cousin's house, and my aunt all gave us cartons of Yahoo chocolate milk. I drank it, and it tasted okay. Several hours later, I felt really bad and threw up. It only could've been the milk, because that was the only thing I ate/drank. o.o;; I never drank milk ever again. ;>.> |

Yeah, it was unwrapped when I had found it. Dx I know that chocolate usually tastes the same after a long period of time - only of wrapped though. It tasted pretty much the same as any other chocolate, only a slight dusty flavour..and smelt a bit spicy for some reason. O.O;; Mage: I would think so. xD Ewh. Ive had expired choco milk from my cafeteria once, it was soo sour. I never bought anything from there again. o3o;; Wow..now that I look back. Ive had ALOT of expired food before, from milk to chocolate to chips to watermelon. 8D |

Today, I was going to cook meat loaf for dinner with my mum. We bought some nice ground beef to use but when we opened it... The whole house began to smell of ROTTEN EGGS. Argh! The meat didn't look rotten at all but we certainly didn't want to cook it. So here I am, waiting on a fresh batch of ground beef from the store. *sigh* |

i swear chocolate gets better with age IT WAS DELICOUS now i buy some chocolates wait 3 months then eat it so long as its in a sterile environment its still safe to eat, just tastes better but im sure you contracted some sort of illness but dont worry nothing serious and when im sick or something bad like hat happens to me i think damn in a week im going to have forgotten about it... |
