Luckily I've always gone there in groups. During high school, we did a few hours each semester of community service, that's when I was first introduced to the "haunted hostel". One time we were cleaning a room, and no matter how many times we would dust, the dust would come back. I know someone who got locked in an old cell when they were on the tour, even though the lock had been removed the guide couldn't get the door open (they would put a volunteer in the cell to show how small the cells were). Sometimes you get the occasional chill on your ankles, it might just be drafty but people say it's ghosts reaching up trying to pull you down. Funny you mention a video camera, in an adjacent building is "Saw Video". Not kidding, and it was there long before the "Saw" movies. Anyway, it's a video production place, and we would often use it in college for film editing & equipment rental. A few people have gone through the place with cameras, but nobody I know has found anything weird. |
The house I used to live in was haunted.
Each time I would leave a room I would turn the light off....then when I would come back in that room the lights were on again....we did get it checked and nothing was wrong with our lights. In the same house, I've seen a black cat multiple times...it was odd. It wasn't real either [DUH], we could see right through it. It just really liked to sit on my Mom's car. XD I've seen other apparitions, but don't want to bore you all. |

Creepy... o_+ Community service at a haunted hostel... Count me in! =D I don't know whether to feel sorry or feel envious towards the people who get to stay there. o_o;; ...Which reminds me. My friend just told me that there was a tunnel connecting my old middle school and the high school down the street from me. [I'm the mid-point! =D] But yeah, she said that you can get there from the middle school boiler room, and that kids often sneak down there to show off, or use it as a right of passage for moving onto high school. Even though I haven't seen it for myself, I believe her since I've heard about this from many other people. Also, it's said to be haunted. x3 |
No ghosts, but I have had a couple of weird experiences with Ouija boards.
I remember one time I was with a group of about seven friends, and it's always been tradition for us to pull out the Ouija board at about two or three in the morning at our all-night drinking and bullshitting parties. So we're all sitting around, somewhat buzzed, doing our thing...and nothing terribly unusual happened while we were playing with the board, but afterwards, we noticed our cell phones. We'd set them all on top of the TV, and the phones of everyone who'd been playing with the board were turned off...and none of us had particularly low batteries before hand. It was really strange. I usually don't put much stock in the supernatural (although sometimes I think I hear people whispering at night...that could just be my imagination, but I know there are a couple of bodies buried in my side yard...old farm house), but that was just a little too weird to discount as total coincidence. |
I have none. XD
I feel like a baby reading all of this then be scared. I just can't stop. ;w; |
I believe in possession and ghosts and vampires and all that good stuff. I believe myself that i have a possessed doll. Ill explain!! One day i was at school and when i got home my mom told me over the phone that my new doll's (her name is Pandora)box(which she came with)had fallen. I thought ok what does that matter... well apparently as my mom went on, i found out that no one knocked over the doll the table wasn't bumped and when the box fell out of her arms it ended up across the floor yet she only heard it thump agents the ground once so it looked as if it was thrown. Another example is that same day i came home to find her box sitting perfectly center in front of her, i called my mom and asked if she moved it or if it had fallen again and she put it there she said no. my uncle said he didn't move it and nether did my aunt....Earlier today her box mysteriously(i was in the room the entire time)went from being in her hands to on the table that i was sitting at next to me....I LOVE MY DOLLY! shes so awesome!!

My Grandma recently passed away. A lot of weird stuff happened around that time.... |
Well I suppose Dejavu is weird.
I get it all the time. The first time I've ever gotten it was this one time when my grandmother (now deceased) had taken us to visit Cancun, Mexico with her. You see the beaches there are kinda dangerous, because theres a rip current there. They have a system of flags posted infront of the water that work like a traffic light. Needless to say, American stupidity struck again. xD I got caught in the current and couldnt get back to shore. Oh man. That was some scary stuff. Its hard to describe the feeling of paddling for all that you're worth and slowly inching backwards, your legs burning as if they're on fire. Anyways. A lifeguard had to come out and get me. D': It was really embarassing. The beach was totally crowded. xD But then as I sat there all in shock and crap... I realized that this was exactly what I had dreamed a few months ago. I mean the dream was like I was watching everything happend from behind my eyes. Everything was the same as the dream. The words I said. The words said to me. The scenery. Everything. Ever since then I'd be doing stuff, hanging out and having fun and then this peculair feeling would come over me and I'd be like. Hey...I've dreamt this. All of those instances were precious times to me, also. |
I don't believe in demons, just negative spirits. ^^
Well, most of my experience happened when I was 5 and younger in one house. My family all had experiences too but I was too young to remember any. My mom has said that there were people in her closet whispering in her ear whenever she was in it. And my dad said he would feel a cat rub up against his leg and he'd look down but nothing was there. In my current house I think I've had some experiences. When we had a big recliner in the living room at the end of the hallway. The house would be pitch black, and I'd walk from a room through the hallway and when I'd get to where the recliner is, I'd see a sort of flowing outline of a person sitting on the arm of the chair. Every time. And sometimes when I'm laying in bed, it'd feel like one of my cats jumping onto my bed, but when I look there's nothing there, or I'd wait for any more movement and there would be any. I think I'd be so terrified if I saw an actual ghost. Maybe if I saw a kind little girl ghost, I'd be scared at first but try to befriend her. :3 I'd want to play with her too! |
well.... i didn't saw'd hm... but.... my untie told me that she saw my grandfather in his funeral O____O!.... but he wasn't a bad person so... there's nothing to worry about ^~^♥

well i love scary video and i do believe in ghosts. but not in the i going to kill you and have all these ability to do it. i would hope that they wont and if they do , they cant. why would our lord let that happen? have a ghost just walk around hurting people. i had an event where i was listening to a cd . and it was on my fav song when i heard from my cd "get out of here" well it did spoke me but it was not like a scary aggresive voice but a like normal voice and well i replayed the song because i knew how that song went and sure it didnt say that. well it did not say it again . so i did what it said i left my room and when i went our my brother was climing out of a car. and he was hurt a four wheeler went ran him over hurting him . well we ran over to him and he is ok but we didnt understand what had happen so i stopped the guy driving my brother home so he didnt leave so we can get the story out of what happen if i didnt leave my room ( my parents dont speak english and my other brother was out) i dont think he would have stopped and had given us the answer which was that his stupid son hit my brother on purpose and made him spran his ankle and hurt his arm. so i do believe in spirt ghost what ever you call them and they do tend to help.

D: I'm afraid of the dark in general.
I still believe in monsters under the bed, so no matter what the time is I have to have a blanket cocoon around my feet. You see, if I didn't then it would eat my toes. D: I also hate windows. It doesn't even matter that I'm up on the second floor, I still feel like I'm gonna look and someones going to be outside of it. Same with doors. If I open a door, someones gonna be there. Of course, nothing ever happens... D: I just can't help it. |
nope none of that shit happend to me D:

i always see things moving around even though it's not really there...? whenever i talk to someone, groups of friends and such i always see something moving pass behind them but they never appear on their other side. i always wait for a reaction from someone: like maybe if they talk directly to whatever it was. but there never was, they acted like nothing happen. these kinds of things occur a lot but i never mind them...

Well, I've never seen a ghost, but I've seen something. I don't know what it was. I use to be able to see shadows (I don't know what else to call them). Anyway, once at camp, we were walking back to our cabin at night and we had to cross a bridge to get there. Once across, there's an immediate turn that's hidden by the trees, and there was a dark shadow right there and I screamed cause I didn't realize it was a shadow and not a person. They usually weren't that vivid.
Anyway, I haven't seen them in years, so I don't think I can anymore. Still no idea what they were. |
I'm easily scared by all this ghost stuff. xD
Delta is a wuss. D; |
This is not necessarily my own experience but my younger sister. Our grandfather died long back before she was born. Since we grew up abroad, it was only when she's 5 or 6 when she finally get to visit our grandmother in the old ancestral home.
My grandfather had been sickly near the end of his life, and he often rests in his favorite rocking chair. The same chair exists to this day, placed in the family room where everyone gathers. My sister sat beside me on a round table together with other family members, we were happily chatting, updating each other etc. etc. while eating light snacks. It was then that my sister looked behind us, to the place where my grandfather's rocking chair was, I don't know if she heard anything or what, but when she turned back to the table she was silent. So silent that we all grew worried as she's usually a bubbly, talkative girl. She simply climbed down the chair to my mother who lifted her to her lap. She refused to say anything, just clung to our mother and refused to let go. While my parents tried to console/find out what's wrong, my grandmother turned to the rest of us and said with a smile that 'She must have seen your grandfather'. It seems that not only did my sister saw something, but our younger cousins too, those who've come for the first time were scared of the rocking chair too. |
