Ever seen a ghost? Or anything weird happened?
Well, I think I've seen a ghost.
It was about week or two ago. I was going back home. It started to rain. Through the raindrops I saw a strange woman. She was dressed in dirty wedding dress. I was staring at her, by what I'd be crashed by a speeding car. And when I looked back at her, she just... disappeared. That was really, really weird! |
I'd love to see a ghost, but I can't really say that I have for sure or not. I looked up haunted areas in my state online, and at the local zoo there's supposed to be a ghost girl riding her bike around after hours... I can't remember the exact story.
Or, as another example, there's a hotel a few cities over where this little girl will run down the stairs right after you get off the elevator for the first time you arrive on this particular floor. She'll run up to you and complain that her mommy's hurting her and then run off, and she'll never show up again for you. But it happens to like, everyone, because there's constant reports. So I think, that if I ever went there, I'd try and stop the girl and maybe help solve her problem with her mother and put the spirit to rest or something? That'd be cool. |
I can't say I ever have though if I did I would be terrified to no end.
I used to think there was a ghost in my house because doors would just like close randomly and on there own xD But now I know it was just the wind from the open windows closing the doors xD |
I don't know if "ghost" is the right term for it, but yes ._O;
It would take too long to explain and type everything out, but lets just say I'm happy we moved. ._. You could always feel something watching you when the room was dark.. |
Oh, I'm glad you asked.
My family grew up with ghosts and poltergeists. We'll start with what I've seen. My house had a female ghost that people saw staring out my window on days that I left the house, I was a shut in, so I suspect that she was looking for me because I never left the house. The scary thing is, that she looks exactly like me. People say she's my guardian angel, I agree with that. I also have a male poltergeist. He sometimes unrolls the toilet paper in a really unnatural way so that you can tell it's not just the air moving around. He would make it wiggle on the way down and then it would fold up really nicely once it hit the floor. He also one day threw a plastic cup at me. It was weird. Nothing hit the computer tower that it was sitting on, it just randomly hit me in the face. Ok, back to my family. My mom remembers when she was about four, an outline of a lady walking around the room, checking on all of her siblings to see if they were doig ok. She said that the ghost would skip her because she knew she was awake. Scary. o___o I have more stories, but this is a really long post and I don't think that anyone's going to want to read this. XD |
I sometimes wake up at night scared of something. It's just... I'm scared of something. And I don't really know of what .__.
And yes, these shadowy creatures [demons?] around in the dark room. So... chilly! When I was small I used to sleep with lights on, because I thought there actually was something standing behind the window. But oh, that was so long time ago xD |
One time I woke up because I stayed home from school sick and the room was sort of flashing black and white for no apparent reason.
I looked to my right and I saw an outline of a girl standing right next to my bed. I figured right away that it was the female ghost that people told me about. I started squirming and stuff in my bed, trying to tell her that I saw her, then I remember her tilting her head to the side, I thought it was scary, but I later realised that she was confused with what I was doing. Haha, I don't remember anything after that. |
Wow, Ikana, seems you are a medium.
I'm kinda scared of ghosts. When I was about 9, on s street one old lady accosted me and said that I should be awared. I asked of what, and she said that there are many creatures that would like to taste my soul. I was so scared that I couldn't breathe. I met and talked to one ghost. I was 12 or something. It was so called lost soul. It couldn't find a peace. I don't know how, but I think I helped it. |
Omg, if that ever happened to me, I would've ran home to my mom and clung to her leg for the rest of my life! O___O
That's so scary! |

It's not so much what we've seen as it is what we've heard.
A few years ago, my mom and I had an odd experience. We were the only two people in the house at the time, she was in her room on the 'puter and I was trying to take a quick nap. I heard someone knock on her door. I didn't really think anything of it, because I was half asleep. I heard my mom say, "Come in" but, of course, no one came in. Two or three minutes later she came out of her room and yelled at me, "Don't knock on the door and run away." "But I didn't." "...You're the only other person home besides me..." "......." Yeah, to this day, we can't come up with an explanation. I mean, we do hear strange bumps and bangs at night too but we can sort of attribute that to this house being somewhat old. But that experience was much much harder to explain away. |
i think it would be a intriesting to see a ghost although one time my frined told me she saw a ghost of a man throwing rocks at 7 eleven and she turned around and looked and it was gone sounds pretty scary but it would be a breathtaking experience and i would never forget it if i saw a ghost i hope to see one in the future ^_^

@Ikana: well, I was scared. But not at all. I've never been normal xD When I was much younger I used to have some ""magical"" powers, like moving some small objects with mind, etc. Now I'm too old for that kinds of tricks u__u
For me ghosts = demons or lost souls. And I still believe in angels [ I know I'm stupid xD] |
Haha, ljos.
I love the potato thing, but the soldier part would've made me really sad as well. I don't like to see strong people being sad, it really breaks my heart... Ryoku: At my friend's house, this old ghost man in red clothes knocked on this one door all night because the door was usually open. The man that was staying in that room blamed everyone, but no one was doing it. Maybe it was because they wanted to come in, but the door was in the way. Animizu: That's wonderful. Everyone is able to move things with their minds and stuff, it's just that smaller kids beleive that it'll happen more than older teens and adults, so they have a harder time doing it. I used to try to bend spoons with my mind because I saw people doing it on Pokemon, but it never worked. Haha, now I'm practicing Wicca and I beleive the spells will work, so most of the time they do. I just try not to cast really farfetched spells. Hehe. |

But reading your story, about that old woman, reminded me of something my sister and I experienced when we were kids. When we had gone out with my dad to our local Burger King, this strange woman approached us and told us she knew our dad. She looked like she worked there because she had a mop and bucket but I felt like there was something weird about her. My sister didn't have much of reaction, because she's a little out there herself, but I talked with this woman a little bit. She seemed nice, but I had a strange feeling about her. When my dad came back with our food I told him about the woman we had saw, but when I went to try and find her, she was gone. I don't really remember the experience in detail because it was probably over 10 years ago that this happened but afterwards, I thought maybe she was a ghost. |

Some really weird stuff
involving Ouija boards has happened to me, but I'm not sure if I should say too much, other than it told us about someone involved in my friend's destiny, and we looked online and found his myspace profile. The spirit gave the name of a state, town, and their first and last name. D: |
I believe that my grandmother's old house was haunted by a very malevolent spirit. There was just this horrible feeling that would come over you whenever you entered the bedroom, or even walked past it.
My grandmother and I could feel it, and my grandmother wouldn't even sleep in the bedroom. She moved her bed into the living room and slept there. Sometimes the door to that room would slam open or shut, and the lights in there and the hall next to it often came on by themselves. And when I was in high school, my family and I lived in an apartment. One night something whispered in my ear as I was trying to go to sleep. I couldn't get to sleep at all the next night, but the night after that they whispered in my ear again as I was trying to go to sleep. This time it was a word, but for the life of me I cannot remember what it was. |

It's like magical things happen every day, you should just take a chance and open your eyes. I'm not scared of these ghost creatures any more as far as I believe they won't do me a harm [= posses me] |
I'm never quite sure what I see. It's more of a feeling for me.
It was third grade I think. It was around fall and the leaves were falling. I was at school and the class was walking back from lunch. My school was weird. The hallways were outside, not inside. Anyway, I was in the back of the line. Suddenly something hit me, real hard. It felt like someone bumped into me. I felt all dizzy. I looked around but there was no one running and everyone from my class was in front of me. It was weird. Another time was not too long ago. Maybe last month? It was pitch dark in my house. Everyone was sleeping and I was thirsty. I carefully walked downstairs. My dad sleeps on the couch. Once I hit the floor something hit me, hard. Again, I felt all dizzy. The stairs are right next to the kitchen. so I ran to the kitchen and turned the light on. No one was there and my dad was asleep. The only "people" that were down there were my dad and two dogs. Heh, I can't really say that it was a ghost, but I'm pretty sure it was. I would explain why, but it sounds crazy. |

My mom and I are believers, of sorts but my dad doesn't believe in ghosts at all... But he believes in aliens. o__O; In my mind, aliens and ghosts have always sort of gone hand in hand. Sometimes in this house, I can hear someone calling my name. Sometimes it sounds like my mum or dad, even when they're not home. I can't help but wonder if there really is some sort of ghost in our house... They aren't really all that active though. The knocking incident happened probably 2 or 3 years ago. And, like I said before, we almost always have bumps and bangs at night but it's gotten to the point where it's "normal" so... I hate when I'm trying to sleep, sometimes I hear my name whispered in my ear. It's irritating, but it never really freaked me out until recently. When I was sleeping, I heard my name called, not in a whisper but clearly. My whole body literally jerked awake. I was the only one home at that time and this incident really freaked me out. I couldn't sleep after that. X_x |
My mother's house is haunted. I've always believed in ghosts sort of, but I never thought I'd see one. I told my mother about it when I saw it, and she talked me out of believing what I saw. It was a sunny room and could have been a trick of the light. So we joked about it for a while. My 'close encounter'. Then the previous owner of the house came over to see how our renovations were going. We talked about it while she was there and she went white. Her aunt, who died shortly after we bought the house, was our ghost. I had seen a woman with long curly blond hair and blue eyes reading a book in what became my sisters room. Her aunt fit the description perfectly and my sisters room used to be her library. We had a few occurrences after the initial one, and they were always when we were changing something in the house.

i see creepy things all the time me and a friend where at a chinese resteraunt and this old guy kept walking from the kitchen to the bathroom then we saw him walk back then he went back into the bathroom but never went back to the kitchen but we saw that same old guy walk back into the bathroom!!!
HE NEVER WALKED BACK!!!! also one day i was having really really bad luck and throughout the day 27 black cats walked infront of me... another time me and a friend where down in the foresty grove behind my house and we saw someone standing in the middle of a brook wearing all black we hid from him because the grove behind my house wasnt my property so we hid for a second and when i peeked out litteraly a second later he was gone and in his place was a tombstone with the mans hat on it... my mom also used to work at a haunted resteraunt she was cleaning up one day and she turned around after putting all the chairs up and when she looked back they where all down again she also saw a glass for water sitting on a table and while she was watching it it lifted and smashed on the floor all by itself and one time when i was home alone my dog was sitting in the same room as me and i heard the sound of dogs nails scratching on my door i then looked out of my door and nothing was there but i still heard the scratching... |

Normally, my house is never pitch black. We leave a lamp on downstairs in the kitchen with pretty much illuminates the whole house. I also always sleep with my light on, for uhh... Obvious reasons I've stated in a couple of my posts already. XD Well, one night, I woke up and my lamp was off. I thought to myself, "Goddamn, it burned out again!" but when I got up and touched the lamp, it went right back on. My lamp doesn't have a switch, you have to touch it to turn it on. You can't just touch it with like a piece of paper and it'll go off, it has to be a real hand. So yeah, I thought that was weird... And when I stepped outside my room, the house was PITCH BLACK. I mean, literally, there was no light anywhere. I immediately turned on the hallway light and went downstairs. Couldn't see a thing, it was really awful. I turned the kitchen lamp back on, went back up stairs, and went back to bed. It was pretty creepy. I feel a bit creeped out just talking about it. There was no evidence of the power going out or anything since my computer was still on and none of the clocks were blinking that "00:00" the next morning either. |
Ryoku:
That's scary. Sometimes a long time ago, I would hear someone calling my name in crouded places and stuff, but it was so clear that I was sure that someone was talking to me, then I'd look around and no one was looking for me or anything. It sort of blended in with the rest of the croud. Sorry I took so long to reply, my sister and me were just looking up pizza places here in Winnipeg. n___n I love ghosts, they scare the crap out of me, but I just think they're magical, so I love them either way. n___n I beleive in aliens as well, there's a portal in this old castle that people have found and the code to the portal is written all over the walls in this weird code, so that's why I beleive in aliens. People don't know how to use the portal, though. People have just seen sightings of aliens and UFO's around that area, so yeah. n____n |
